I know that Wagoner has his ear to the ground and consequently can leave bread crumbs for us that he's gleaned from the Ram FO staff.
But I do have a few thoughts...
I hope that there is some way for Saffold to start at RG and Brown to start at LG. Better positions for both players. Just my preference in a perfect offseason scenario.
High time for GRob to discard the training wheels that require a vet next to him at LG. High time to show us why he was the #2 overall pick. I think he can do it, but I need to SEE it on the field.
Like others, I am puzzled by the omission of Ogletree at MLB. It's one of the biggest offseason areas of interest, after all.
Not even a mention of Mo Alexander as a possible replacement at deep S? He makes it sound like the position is Cody Davis' to lose. Is this a big Wagoner bread crumb?
For the life of me I cannot understand why Fisher failed to bring in serious competition for GZ (as promised). Out of all the possible place kickers in the country is Bertolet the best they could come up with? Seriously? Arrrgh!
Finally, I certainly understand how Wagoner would give Kendricks the inside track as a starting TE. Experience counts, especially with Fisher. But I feel strongly that Higbee will seize that starting position from Kendricks this season. Probably before mid season.
