That Alabama game was something for Allison. I watched him in his bowl game versus Houston last year-much of the same. We could use a 250-pounder that plays the run angles like he does. Two other guys near the top of my list are Jahlani Tavai of Hawaii (I have him listed at 6'4",245 lbs) who's been a tackling machine for them for 3 years. A 5th year senior. And T.J. Brunson from South Carby spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com

According to Ram46: "He looked like a sloth out in space against the Ravens. Hope his pass rushing shows up, he looked like a liability to me."by spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
He was getting washed out regularly on running plays his side in the Ravens game. I'd rather have Barwin.by spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what I saw too. Especially vs Wynn. I mean there is getting washed on run plays--but this was like being flushed and spun 7-8 yards to the sideline on everything going left. OO's got a lot of work to do. Of course, Quinn had his problems playing the run, too.by spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
Not only that, but historically, in the last few rounds, they've broken from covering the picks and went with whatever trend arose. For example, if any QB got picked -they'd stop everything and play tape/go on endlessly about him. You'd be lucky if they flashed the 'last 5 picks.' Or when Michael Sam was selected-same. The tv coverage of the picks always was secondary to whatever taped segby spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com

I agree on Vander Esche. In watching Warner in the Senior Bowl, he seems to do a lot of drag tackling on contact playing inside. I think with his speed and coverage ability, he's better suited on the outside in a 4-3.by spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
I watched Toth in Army's bowl game a few weeks ago. He played right tackle. His listed size by Army is 6'6", 305. He's a mauler-can really move the pile. Showed good speed for his size. However, probably has to learn a lot about pass blocking--Army rarely throws the ball. Would be a massive project. I would say not draftable, but a priority FA. - Spamlordby spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
I've been following this site for years (knew it as the Sports Xchange). Great place to search on a name or a team to find info on a prospect. I'd always check the site out and jot down the top names before watching a college game. Rob Rang was the principle guy running things. What's your role -will you be doing any player evaluations?by spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
McMeans, Ebukam and Eldrenkamp all played in the NFLPA COLLEGIATE BOWL this pastJanuary. I watched and took notes. Apparently the Rams scouts did, too. This game typically doesn't produce a lot of draft picks like the Senior Bowl or even the EAST-WEST SHRINE game, but I think they are getting a higher grade of talent as each year goes by. Glad to see some love for Drico Johnson and Quincy Maugher. I have both rated higher than most. Jonson had a great 2015 game against Stanford (mainly vs Rector and Cajuste). Didn't see him this year. Maugher always bought the lumber and always had good position in the games I saw (hard to judge w/o all 22-tape). A couple more from my list are: Ahmad Thomas from Oklahoma and Nate Gerry from Neby spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
QBs -I was big on Brady Gustafson from Montana after 2015--especially after I watched him out-duel Carson Wentz in the opener. Lots of poise for a freshman; nice arm. Looked like a star on the rise. But I've cooled on him after this year--he seems to have lost his poise. Is definitely a developmental guy-now a late rounder or UDFA. These tall qb's don't get a lot of love (Osweiler, Foles, McGwiby spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought the best center I saw in the Bowls was Ragnow--but it looks like he';s not coming out. The Pocic criticisms are valid, he's a 3rd round prospect in my mind. I was not impressed with Orloski either--especially on pass plays. Behind Ragnow, Toth moved up in my eyes. -Spamlordby spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
Its been this way for a couple years now. The way college conferences and playoffs ar setup has something to do with it, as every week has more consequences than an NFL regular season game. Another factor is the way they handle replays and penalties right away (as opposed to the slowed down way its handled in the NFL).by spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
No doubt. I thought his helmet was gonna come off. We never get that call.by spamlord - Game Time Forum
Pretty good article on McLeod/Blake Countess: I saw Countess in high school. He played corner and WR, and returned kicks. Played on the same team as Stefon Diggs. Awful fast, excellent in coverage. Not very big-but a sure tackler. Could be our FS of the future, given time.by spamlord - RamsFootballFans.com
