Rams secondary makeover perfected with Kamren Kinchens at 99 Bret Stuter When the LA Rams started the 2023 NFL season, the team's secondary consisted of Ahkello Witherspoon and Cobie Durant at cornerback, and Jordan Fuller and John Johnson III at safety. While not a particularly expensive secondary, they did make a rather effective secondary. But that was then, this is now. The teby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

It was expected that Bennett might provide Matthew Stafford insurance but instead, the two-tiby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

And yet I suspect that we might soon be saying that he was a great bargain. This Ram front 7 just got a lot stronger in these last 2 days. Brilliant drafting, imo.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams went out and have now assembled a top drawer OL. Well, they did this for a reason. I think McVay now wants to be able to run the ball down ANYONE’s throat, especially the 49ers. Adding Corum to Kyren will only enhance that running ability. Stafford and the entire O are gonna love this 2024 Ram running game. I see Rams running the ball once again like they did back in the day. I Lby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
All picks matched value/need nicely and nobody can complain that Rams ignored D this year. As I posted in another thread, Snead got 3 likely starters and one heavy contributor. Not easy to do on a playoff roster. Verse. Definite starter Fiske. Clearly a starter Corum. Heavy contributor with little falloff if/when Kyren is injured. Proof that Rams are serious about having a strong runningby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

It’s hand-in-glove efficient nowadays. They’ve both noticeably evolved, imo. I believe that that bodes very well for the Rams future.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Verse is certainly one of them, but I think that Rams are approaching Day 2 in terms of getting starter quality players, not just quality depth/developmental types. Or at least SIGNIFICANT contributors in some kind of rotation. If I’m right, this will color decisions at 52, 83, and 99. Might discourage trade downs, too. So, what positions might be in play at Rams picks that would yield sby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRamsDynasty The cost should be much less especially for a first round type talent in the 2nd. The point is whether or not a player at, say, 35 is worth that much more than another player at 52? And at the cost of a Day 2 pick? Day 2 picks are right in Snead’s wheelhouse. Look no further back than the 2023 draft.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not me. I’d prefer letting draft come to them at 52. Still lots of top quality players left.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
1. How far up would Rams have to go to get a given player? 2. And what would be the cost? I’m thinking that there will inevitably be a fine football player there at 52 if the Rams just have the patience to wait it out. I favor keeping ALL of our Day 2 picks. A juicy trade down would also suit me just fine. The value in this draft is reportedly through round 3, maybe early round 4. Soby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteroman18 back to the line work and leaving the rotation of edge with Mathis, Hampton as the rotational group? I kinda hope so, IMO it puts Hoecht back to the line and will add some line rush/sacks to make up with others along the line the numbers AD put out. I’m serious. Now Rams have plugged their biggest hole at edge and still have all their draft picks to use on gems for other needs. Besides, I kinda like our ‘new’ TE room as it stands.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

And, frankly, I expect Snead to score a couple of gems in the 3rd again, even without a tradeup. I’m predicting a very good Day 2 for our Rams, y’all.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I’ll be the first to admit that I was nervous while waiting until the draft to fill the most glaring need for the Rams. But I love happy endings and Jared Verse sure looks like a happy ending for the Rams at edge.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
