Agreed. I think it makes a lot of sense. You get three timeouts in the first half. Use them all!by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com

Kyren Williams is a very good fit for the McVay offense. Considering his draft pedigree he is well above expectations.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
It looked like Kupp had to console Puka on the bench. Puka was absolutely devastated and on the verge of tears. We are lucky to have those two guys on our team. So lucky.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, I saved the link from last year. However, it doesn't seem to be working today. That is why I asked the board for some help. Not sure why you have to be so rude to a fellow Rams fan.by mikeguman - Game Time Forum
Scaled back and focused on moving the defense side to side with Jet Sweep motion. Looks similar to what McVay did with Goff when $hit got out of hand in 2019 (injuries). I think it makes a lot of sense and gives us a chance to build toward a strong finish. Also, we have a much better defense TY than 2019. A competent offense is good enough to compete for the playoffs. Then, maybe by then we are hby mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com

Rozeboom is a key ST contributor and our only veteran backup ILB. I doubt he gets cut. Hummel is not ready. Gervase is JAG.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Just bought two tickets for AZ game via vivid. Spent 127$ for 500 seats row 2. Hope it works out but you never know until you get into your seat.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Can Jones play OLB in our 5-1 package? McVay said sometching today that made me think that Jones could be in the mix. Also, I recall someone else on the board suggesting the idea.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay always says that.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Is our ST coach still on staff? I can't spell his name, sorry. I just hope we can keep a couple veteran coaches.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com

SJD should help up front. No Funk on ST's worries me.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
After watching the niners film it looks like the middle of the field is vulnerable against the pass. Reeder, Howard and Jones were all out of position over and over again last week. Shanahan is good at misdirection and PA concepts so that is some what understood. However, there were several plays where PA wasn't involved and Rams defenders were out of position. Take a look for yourself. So, whaby mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
That worries me a bit. I can see them trying to slow us down with that tactic. If they are light in the box, then we need to run the ball and use the PA game. KC went away from the run game and forced Mahomes into trying to make plays against that muddy zone and it backfired big time. Andy Reid was not patient. I think McVay is more inclined to use the run game. And maybe DH is the wild card in gby mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Hopkins is not interested in playing NFL football at a high level. When he has played it's been brutal. He doesn't sustain a block. He allows defenders to cross his face. He reminds me of a soft HS wide receiver in a big body. I hope I am wrong but film don't lie. And he offers little to the ST's units.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Higbee is doubtful. Who is our back-up TE is Higbee cannot play? I heard McVay comment on how well Blanton is playing and that is evident. However, we need a 2nd TE for 12 personnel and in case Blanton gets hurt. Does anyone have some insight to share? Markway is on the practice squad and might be serviceable I guess. But he has not played special teams so that is worrisome.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
At the beginning of the season Benny was a shy guy in the run game. Toward the end of the season he was much improved at sticking to his man and securing the block. I think McVay values his blocking potential and will scheme him into game plan over time. I would love to see Benny in motion and PA fake and hit him in the flat. He is a big dude and can be a problem in the open field.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Correct me is I am wrong but he seems to be playing well. Has anyone watched the film to know for sure?by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
The injury to Higbee is a big problem. We need to find a veteran TE to back-up Blanton. Any ideas? Hopkins is not the answer. Hopkins is soft and a nonfactor on ST's. We need someone who can be trusted on ST's and 12 personnel.by mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
Since the Detroit game we have improved a lot. The ST coaches have really coached up these young players. Our coverage units are full of FA and late draft pick talent. I hope we can maintain this advantage in the Super Bowl. I am afraid that if we activate some injured players (Rapp, SJD, etc.) that will negatively impact our core coverage units. For example, if we activate SJD then I am afraid Hby mikeguman - RamsFootballFans.com
