Watkins is a stud, someone who would be a huge commodity if he was on the open market. Goff was a disaster last year. I give him a clean slate this year so we shall see what progress he has made. All the hedging of bets by his staunchest of supporters here speaks volumes however... All of that said, who was the last #1 overall QB this disfunctional in his rookie year? Do we have to go backby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
This year is key, CRITICAL that he makes MAJOR strides. To think otherwise...I can't wrap my mind around those thoughts and make no mistake the Rams will be the laughing stock of the league if they try to sell it like Goff needs 3+ years before he's ready.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
It was the right move to trade 6 draft picks for the #1 overall pick even if he's 2-3 years in being respectable? Sorry, no dice.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold . I absolutely commend what the eagles are trying to do with Wentz by surrounding him with play makers and attempting to iron out his flawed mechanics before it's to late. He'll either end up being Favre or Cutler imo.by RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamJr QuoteRFIP If the Bills let him go. Kid is a superstar stuck playing with subpar QB play and horrific offensive coaching. Tyrod has been anything but sub par over the last two seasons. QuoteRockRam As McVay says: Goff has the physical ability. The question will be: can he gain the knowledge and then translate that to the grass? And we're not going to know for awhile. Wentz is light years ahead of Goff but that in itself wasn't much of an accomplishment but if you are really looking for an "excellent" rookie year by a QB he played in Dallas, not Philly. Year 2? The moves to bring in the 2 WRs was outstanding and it's how you treat a young QB. I like a couple of OL they brought in too. That said, Wentz started off like a house on fire but quickly crashed back to earth and ended, eh.. Those are the facts. And now his mechanics, never good, are called in to question. Yes I know they tried fixing his footwork so we shall see if that helps his accuracyby RFIP - RamsFootballFans.com

...your other 3 are "hopes" QuoteSoCalRAMatic There's no uncertainty with Goff. He's our starting QB now and for at least the next decade. Embrace him. There's uncertainty at many other spots, but QB, RB, K and P are all set. I just realized that it's next week, thought it was the week after. Minus first round pick is a buzz kill which is compounded by the uncertainty surrounding Goff. How bad this team has been is a drag too. I get the "new staff" stuff but Snead has maybe even more leverage draft-wise now that he's out from under Fisher so that's depressing too. They've paid him, Kam AND Thomas. They've WAY over spent on their secondary and you see what it's left them for an OL. It would be really smart of them to move Sherman and recoup their secondary in a year of such depth in the position in the draft. I for one hope they CANT move him! Barring an injury plagued summer, he is a lock to make the final 53. Do you believe Gordon would walk the straight and narrow? Answer has to be a resounding YES or you don't bring him in. IF it IS yes, then you tell me what pick is too high for his talent? Answer: NONE QuoteCraigMatson If the price for either Gordon or Richardson is a 7th round pick I'd do it. Especially if we could get that pick deferred until 2018. Robert Quinn Even if healthy none of us know if he can be a full time OLB. Smart teams will isolate him by flexing their TE or scat back to test his ability to drop and play in space.
