Just curious, what has he done or said that would appear to make him "phony" in your estimation? Now, "phony" isn't the word I would use, but I do have some problems with him. I won't get into the reasons as they may be outside the acceptable topics for the board, but let's just say I wouldn't want him as my representative for a worldview he and I supposedly share.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Why did Vermiel decide to retire right after winning that glorious SB 34? Arrrrrgh! This one isn't really a mystery... just Vermeil being Vermeil. A good man, but a guy with his own idiosyncracies, like all of us.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Huh, thought it was UPenn. Well, anyway, she did know him personally. Had his cell phone number. And she wasn't in to football or a Rams fan or anything, so there was no reason for deception.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess, since those two were part of the dramatic defensive turnaround between the 2000 to 2001 seasons it left a lasting positive impression with me, particularly with Archuleta, who I remember just being a monster for a rookie. But I suppose their long-term value as first rounders is quite fairly up for question. I used to work with a woman who went to UPenn with Damione Lewis. I have never understood exactly why those guys became dogs around here. Archuleta played really well, the way I remember it, until he got a bad neck injury that made him kind of a shell of his former self. That's not a bad draft pick, that's just an unfortunate set of events. Ryan Pickett, I suspect, was never used by the Rams in a way that maximized his talents. I don't say that because I'by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Michael Sam No, not because of his orientation, but because I strongly suspect Fisher wanted to aggrandize himself based on being the guy who gave him a chance. In other words, he wasn't just a bad pick who didn't ultimately make the team, he wasn't even a real "football" pick because he was taken for beyond-the-NFL political reasons. Although, another plausible theory is that Gooby EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
I felt like he got worse as the night went on. As if, the butterflies from thinking they actually might have a chance at beating the mighty Seahawks made him get sloppy. Oh, well. SEA got banged up so bad. Some more competent teams down their schedule will help beat them down for us.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Huh?! Disagree totally with Collinsworth. I don't see at all how that one makes sense.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Can the Wilson pitch-and-catch routine single-handedly keep pace with our Rams over the next several weeks? I now have my doubts.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com

Yeah, yeah, 5 turnovers, I know. But, wow... they really don't look that scary. And now they're more banged up and hurt than ever.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
He went into the game with some Achilles issues. He may be pumped up with cortisol or whatever that stuff is called. So maybe he's not totally feeling it all right now.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Just dumb. They are going to be the absolutely dumbest 6-3 team in the history of the league after tonight.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
Frankly, I think that might be ARZ's likeliest path to victory given their anemic offense. Wilson has thrown some dangerous balls already, so, could happen.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com

Things were murky there for a little bit, but now I get what Arians is trying to do. Run a bunch of plays that draw Seattle fouls and just march downfield into the endzone. Perfect.by EternalHorns - RamsFootballFans.com
