guy has look of future stud LT and was supposed to be drafted in the 1st. Would be perfect Whitworth replacement and was shockingly available throughout the 2nd rd. dream scenario, Rams pass.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
drafting a potential starter at LT for the next decade is how you should approach the matter. J Jones could be that answer. You think the Rams are going to win the Super Bowl next year? You think every team is drafting players based on how they will immediately help the team's chances that year? That is not how you build teams. Look at the programs that take a long term approach and you can separby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I think it was a fair draft. I think most of us can acknowledge that Akers and Jefferson were viewed as 3rd rd picks...not 2nd. Thus, I don't think the value was terrific. I think they might end up being good to great players...particularly Akers. I don't love Jefferson's age, but I do like his ability to separate. I think the T Lewis pick was the best, a high ceiling pick that carries some risk,by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
learn from Whit for a year.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
there is always ways to keep your players. rams will do it with kupp and Ramsey.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Just curious. Im happy with the draft so far, but worried about o line.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
Boys got much better. That O is going to be deadly.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
or CB Hall. 2 for o, 2 for dby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I won't pretend to know which is better. Biadisz just has better name and better team.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I think its very possible. cb hall a good option also. or biadiaszby spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
they just get job done. Epenesa & Moss... great draft w/ Stefan Diggs. Bills on the upswing.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I woulda been ok with him in the 2nd, so feel better about 2nd rd picks now.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
makes me feel better.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I just don't like the approach. Its always flashy playmakers first and ignore the lines and basics.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
no nonsense, just grab studs. love it. not sure they have the right QB, but I like how the team operates.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
but why get my hopes up :(by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean what rb gems...Henderson? and Taylor Rapp was fine, but not necessarily a steal, it was a fine pick and he is a good player with bright future, but there were a lot of safeties and other positions in that range that had equally impressive rookie seasons.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
yeah I get all that. I'm not so against the players, I just don't have any faith in our o line. I liked Jefferson, but thought he would be there in 3rd, so felt a bit early to me. Akers was not on my radar at all.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
we will see how it shakes out. I don't like the approach.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
everyone has argued that his skill is determining where a targeted player is going to go, and then trades to that spot. I don't recall any mock drafts having Akers or Jefferson in the 2nd round? Im not suggesting they will be bad players, but Snead definitely did not play to this supposed strength. I understand that it takes two to tango, but I'm not feeling great value in our first two picks.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
unless we get J Jones ill be disappointed.by spagsbacker - RamsFootballFans.com
