In 50 years of watching sports I've never heard a fan say 'why do the commentators support us'?by RamUK - Game Time Forum
I presume you didn't watch that game.by RamUK - Game Time Forum
I'll defer judgement because it would be like judging an Oline player based on how he performed against Donald.by RamUK - Game Time Forum
He's out for too many plays. It's worrying to me.by RamUK - Game Time Forum
I can remember talking with an ex-pro soccer player who was a friend of my dads and had moved into becoming a soccer commentator. I asked him about a player who I thought wasn't trying and he laughed. He said that supporters really don't understand that element and that every player was giving it their best 99% of the time. It's just that trying takes many forms and isn't always obvious.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
They did have Edgerrin James waiting in the wings. But yeh, it was still an amazing deal.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
And more importantly, a win. I love watching the games on TV but it can never match being there. Maybe we can meet in Miami next year?by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Talib seems to be keeping Peters in check - at least off the field. But, I can't say as I'm relaxed and confident it'll stay like that. I'd be a nervous wreck if he had to mentor Ramsey too, especially with the cap money that would be involved. It would be exciting but I'd still pass.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
That was about an hour or so ago on the 2-minute drill, so no idea if they have older info or more updated.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Well okay, there are lots , but two I love. No egos.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com

When it was so fast the officials didn't even have time to get set never mind the D!by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
A lot of fans will look at the fact he hasn't got a sack (even though I don't think he got one until the 4th games last season) and think he may be having a down year. Even though we let the Panthers have a sniff at the end I'm really liking what this D is starting to look like.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Every time the cameras panned to the crowd it was solid Rams fans. Other than the KC game I don't remember seeing it like that. Hopefully, this team is starting to earn the fan base it rightfully deserves!by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
That you use all your poise and calm for your role as a first responder and once you leave work it's all gone ;) Today will be nothing like the playoff game against Dallas, and guess what? We won!by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
It's about the work of Amos Tversky and Daniel Kahneman. They led the thinking in work around cognitive biases and it's truly fascinating how we assess situations, frequently incorrectly. For example, you're more likely to be angry at missing a flight connection when you miss it by 5-minutes than if you miss it by 2-hours. If that call had happened in the first minute and had the exact sby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
It was clearly a penalty. But the facemask on Goff was clearly a penalty too. Every single game has bad calls. And every close game could have gone the other way. A bad call is a bad call. The refs either missed it or called it wrong, or they didn't. I don't mean SaintsAlive with this, but some Saints fans are wallowing in misery. It's almost like in some perverse way they areby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh yeh, they did that already. I think on the back of a Super Bowl appearance and being 1-0 the last thing they can be accused of is not stepping up.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Obviously an ACL can happen to anybody - heck Brady seems to have done okay since he did his. So other than that, what do you base that on, is it just a hunch because he doesn't have the size of a TE?by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- There's a growing presence about quarterback Jared Goff as he moves about the Los Angeles Rams' practice facility. Goff has already proven he can lead the Rams to a division title and the playoffs, after all he has done that the past two seasons in compiling a 24-7 record. But after he appeared dizzied and confused during a 13-3 loss to the New England Patriots in Supeby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
It's funny you know because as I patted 'you' on the back I realized as the guy turned round and before he said anything it wasn't you. What I knew and Helen didn't was you're just a gram or two lighter these days! As for Julian/Ungulate - I met him three times (I think) and a really nice guy who would always come up and speak with me. Met Grits 3 times too. Both Rams through and through.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
You cannot dispute data, you can only dispute the interpretation of data. I think what you have shared is something to consider. If I'm being honest I have had a slightly unsettling feeling with some of Goff's performances - especially in Chicago. And I was more than unsettled during the first quarter last Sunday. However, I also trust McVay and realize that he's still learning the gaby RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
And one of the few things you see better at a game and high up than on TV is that the receivers we're rarely getting open. I'm marginally concerned, but nothing more. And when posters talk about being in denial and that we've peaked, then I'm not sure what to say. I'll reserve judgment until 6 or 7 games.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
Mimosa's for breakfast and then way too many beers. I was so dehydrated and exhausted by the end that I could barely celebrate - wasn't it a Kurt fumble for them that gave us the win? I made the decision not to drink after brunch yesterday and that was a smart decision. I don't make many, but that was one!by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
He's not a great catcher, makes poor decisions and can't rip off a long one. Even the return in the second half that was quite good was probably preceded by a poor decision to try and catch a bouncing ball. Not sure I agree on McVay though. He's first and foremost a student and a learner, so he'll always be topping his bag of tricks up.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
It's tough being at a game and being way back and watching individual linemen. However, Goff had plenty of time to go through his progressions on a number of occasions. Plus they created a lot of room for the running game at times, especially on the exterior. So, I have to conclude that as a group they did between ok and pretty good, especially as they had 2 new starters.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
It was close to 95 degrees in the stands with no breeze. It must have been 100+ on the field. That stadium is a concrete bowl that sucks in heat and forces out air. A half or two in pre-season cannot account for that. The Panthers D was gassed too when Gurley was gashing them.by RamUK - RamsFootballFans.com
