QuoteJamesJM 18 is a GREAT number. 9 lacks character 39 is just plain ugly 43 is a good number, not great, but a solid good. 50 is an outstanding number... but mostly for a center. 51 reminds me too much of my first Nine score after not playing for a year. 83 is a good fit - - perfect for a TE. 92... only good 90's number is 99. 9 is a cool number for a QB (Jim McMahon and Tommy Krameby BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com
The Falcons failed this little chess match badly. The situation dictated running the ball to KILL TIME off the clock AND force NE to burn their two remaining timeouts. Getting a first down in that situation would have been gravy but so would have been kicking a FG. NE offense was not explosive, they had to move the ball methodically down the field thanks to the speed of Atlanta's defense.by BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com
Atlanta's defense was on their heels because they were gassed, NE had the ball almost the entire second half (reminiscent on te Rams defense in SB34). The Rams defense was fresher in the 4th quarter because they were chillin' on the sidelines while the offense was erasing a 10-point deficit. Meanwhile, the Pats offense did very little in the second half.by BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com
stay in Cover-2 and allowed underneath/dink passes to a QB who had shown no reason the entire game to defend him deep and knowing full well all the Pats needed was to get into FG range for a pretty reliable kicker. I mean, NEs receivers were pedestrian at best, no game breakers. You are correct, Brady was essentially a rookie in SB36. But Lovie Smith's playcalling treated Brady like he was Dby BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com

All the coaching in the world won't help if players can't or won't make plays. I will believe the offense improved when I see it on the field, not at an offseason press conference.by BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com

"Shanny is the golden apple right now James." Grits statement says Shanahan IS the choice if the Rams want to be the best. That may be true but who the heck knows.by BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com
Like HPD has been saying, the Rams hired Spags and Fisher when both were the "golden apple" at the time. Neither appointment made the Rams "the best". There is no guarantee this year's new golden apple Shanahan will be any more successful. Besides, how can anyone tell which inexperienced HC candidate will be successful? Sorry but we're going to have to hope and pray whoeby BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com
How anyone cannot be utterly pissed about every aspect of the regression of this undisciplined, boring team is beyond me. At this point, I see absolutely nothing about next season to get excited about. I mean did any rookie or 2nd-year player show you anything to suggest they are someone to watch out for in 2017? Whoever they bring in as GM/HC need to have some mofo imagination otherwise thisby BlackSheep - RamsFootballFans.com

I appreciate that HH. My brother has to make the decision to change his life style or die, it's as simple as that and that's the way I spelled it out to him. Come to think of it, the same applies to the Rams.by BlackSheep - Game Time Forum
Just getting home from visiting my longer brother in. The hospital. Dude suffered a stroke after abusing alcohol and drugs darn near his his whole life. Anyway, do I even want to pull this game up on the FireT V stick?by BlackSheep - Game Time Forum

Quotewaterfield I read an interesting article from Psychology Today that argues FOR BOREDOM ! Apparently boredom is truly good for the soul and we should honor it. There was a lot to the piece and I wish I could remember it and post it. Nothing wrong with boredom I tell my grand kids -stimulates the brain.
