Not sure I like giving Green Bay a franchise LT plus Brian Thomas, Jr., to the Bills for extra picks. Rams have plenty of picks and making the Packers stronger is not a good idea IMHO.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 Sweat as a DE? Well, of course anything is possible ... but guys that big don't play DE, at least haven't. There's never been a DE that big in NFL history. But there is always a first. My point is if they did that, there is a lot of shuffling that will prob. have to happen. Rams need plug and play guys. Verse? Prob. can do it Sweat? That's a question mark. Muchby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Somewhat disappointed because they did not bring him back and he offered a different element to Stafford. However, agreed McVay seems to like Garoppolo, not sure why, but he does and I will trust McVay.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe Sweat could play that position and I also believe that DL Coach Gif Smith could work with him there. Sweat was an interior defensive tackle for the Texas Longhorn and usually aligned at 0 or 1-technique, though he did play out of the 3 or 4i technique on occasion. He does a good job of keying the snap and has a very good first step.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Their attendance has been double everyone else. The UFL needs to showcase St. Louis with hope in other areas they will catch on. Not a bad crowd on hand in Arlington close to 15,000.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Great story, but there are some excellent kickers in this years draft too. Let us see if Norman Bates can makes us go crazy with a few more FG's before we all go ahead and jump.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
I do not believe they will go in this direction, but this is their guy, if there is one. I think he is the type of QB McVay likes, plus he played at Auburn and Les Snead will like that. But Nix can keep a play alive with his legs, but looks to pass first and has delivered in many pressure pack games. Again, Rams not going here, but I am betting McVay likes his game.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 I see Verse as a DE, I see Latu a tweener Turner an OLB in base, DE in pass sit. Chop, same as Turner Ellis and Braswell, also capable of OLBer and DE in passing st. UCLA guy and Florida State guy would wonder if they could do the full job. Latu less than Verse, thou So who is your pick? Trade down & draft Chop?by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotegeorge_allen if watched plenty of Jake and honestly i think he a bit shaky. i don't put much stock in his stuff. I disagree, Jake has excellent content and has been right about many things the Rams have done. His knowledge is sound about the team and he was all over many of the free agent signings too.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Has the size and the get off speed too, plays on the right side, which complements Bryon Young on the left.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog Played on a crappy defense at UCLA. Changed my tune. Think he's the best of the young DBs. Good Player on a bad defense, that happens often. I thought it was a good pick, have a good friend of mine, who is a UCLA alum and goes to many of their games and talked him up pretty good, even thought their defense was awful, plus I loved his dad, so my hope was the lineage.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
When they drafted Lake from UCLA, durability was truly the only concern. Rams are going to need all areas of the defense to contribute to be successful as not one position group or player will be able to carry them any longer.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 were in it Non filters of course. My Grandfather smoked those, use to buy him a couple of cartons for Christmas ever year when I was in the Air Force from 84-90. Cost was $6.76 per carton. Times have changed.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure how good he will be, but I always was his Grandfather Archie was a Ram instead of wasting his talents in New Orleans and the Rams did not have a shot at Peyton or Eli.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Hopefully Stetson Bennett is in a good place and it would be great if he can make a contribution this season.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Three changes the Rams made that year after losing to Green Bay in Milwaukee. James Harris took over a QB, took announcers one year to adjust referring to him as Jimmy Harris and not James, in fact, Howard Cosell at one time called him Jamie Harris. Bill Simpson took over at Safety for Steve Preece, which was a major upgrade and CB Al Clark took over for Eddie McMillian, who was suffering a Sopby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Milquetoast Linehan, could not motivate a Marine at a Brothel. Steve Spagnuolo, just a better coordinator then Head Coach and did suffer from a Napoleon Complex and then Jeff Fisher, who most of us felt would get the Rams to at least 8-8, but never did. Enter Sean McVay the Wunderkind and everything changed. Glad Aaron Donald stayed and it could not have been easy, but he was compensated accorby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote3030 Trade him to Atlanta where he's closer to his support system. He'll already know the offense and can learn under Cousins. That is a very good plan, I would do that. Good for the Rams and good for Bennett.by den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteroman18 I wouldn't move on, still draft a QB (in the low rounds, UDFA area, but I wouldn't throw him out the door. You dump him you get/save nothing. He's a player that A: he doesn't pan out B: He makes the team and becomes a 3rd spot developmental guy C: He comes on in the Spring/Summer and challenges for a roster spot. I guess unless he drags others down and is just not mentaby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com

Davis Allen I like and believe he could be a very good TE moving forward. Zach Evans concerns me with ball security. As he had issues hanging on the ball during training camp and it seemed to carry over in the season as he did not look explosive through the hole as he was carrying the ball with two hands and seemed unnatural doing it and it affected his play IMHO. We will see what happenby den-the-coach - RamsFootballFans.com
