Quotenapoli Yep- been saying it for weeks. McVay is very stubborn when it comes to calling plays. When the team gets down he goes pass happy! This ^. Let's actually do it coach.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax Either the Jags should be the SB favorite or the Hawks are a very average team. Wilson kept putting the ball up for grabs and the Jags picked him 3 times and should have had at least 2 more. The Hawks D is not good at all if Wagner can't play. Unfortunately we don't have the Jags D especially in the secondary. It also didn't hurt the Jags were at home. Rams D has to get to Wilby Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteEternalHorns We got good overnight. We could get bad overnight, as well. Just one small example: how different would some of this year's outcomes be without Aaron Donald? What if he isn't here next year for some reason? Or if you're not convinced on Donald, plug in your own favorite player nearing the end of their contract. Especially in the era of free agency, every year is different.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills But I will take either The assumption is the Rams will beat both... the Rams have to do their part Go Philly from where I sit. As others have said division first priority.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM One, (he has others), that seems to truly stand out to me is that he seems to be immune to 'bad breaks'... be they self-inflicted, luck, doesn't matter. I don't think this is a 'learned' attribute... I think he came into the NFL in possession of it. What I mean is: Although a cliche it is fact that the only play that matters is the next one... and IMHO Goff is a master at thisby Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
So much of what Grits said is the truth............ I was a varsity HC for baseball, not football, for years. I get the pressure these kids are under when they reach this level and such a game. As a HC I got it constantly from parents, administrators, and parents booster club. My two nephews are playing this Saturday in the semi's also here in NorCal as a 2nd seed in their playoffs. They are aby Barf33 - Bucky's Pub
Quotelaram He made some very good plays in the run game and a tackle for loss and he had some good pressure and missed a sack. Did Walker, Brockers or Donald get off the plane? Donald missed a sack on Keenum, let Murray run right through him and got a silly roughing call. Brockers and Walker got down right abused. ANd Barron still can't cover. The entire defense was BAD. Jeff Fsher and Rob Boris. Jarrod Goff should never ever be blamed for their incompetence.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree 100%. This team deserves a rocking near capacity crowd this Sunday as well as the rest of the season. We wanted this team back..............by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
It was thanks. Donald stating " you just want to bust your butt for him" says it all.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold QuoteRams43 According to Pro Football Focus, Barron has been the best run-stopping inside linebacker in the league. He’s recorded a run-stop rate of 11.5 percent, which is just ahead of Bobby Wagner and Blake Martinez, who are No. 2 and 3. . I am sure the stats are right, but do their stats tell the story? On most of the big runs against us, Barron's failure to get off bby Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
I get it but wining record and a playoff berth is more of a priority with me. It's been a long time on both.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotebigjimram21 My question is why wasn't that offensive PI on Cooper in the first quarter? They were running together and he clearly shoved the DB away and down to free himself up. They throw the flag and then what, someone says we have to get out of here after the game, just pick up the flag. The non Pi on Cooper. QuoteGlacieRam the more chances there are for distractions and losing focus. McVay has emphasized that this is a business trip. They are limiting the options for distraction. IMHO. This^. I'm glad they are hanging in Florida for a while. In the past they had to go over as home team on Monday to do all the NFL stuff like Play 60. While the visiting team stayed home and focused on game plan.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 And they’re not really the players that many had expected. Goff’s doing fine. Better than fine, really. Gurley is having a helluva season. Sully has excelled at C. Barron has more than held up at ILB so far. Nope, the above are all exceeding our expectations. Here are my “problematic three”. Tavon Austin. My feelings are well known. He’s a man without a position. And wby Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlrams13 1. Love the fact that we are 4 and 2. 2. Hate the fact that no matter what, some people here want to nitpick as to our deficiencies. 3. We are 4 and 2 for a reason. We are a good team. Save all the negative feedback for during the week, let's enjoy a victory for crying out loud. 4. Game Observations--we made mistakes, we made some plays, and WE WON!!!!!!!!!! P.S. QuoteBlue and Gold I'm still taking it BG. I think if Goff would have waited just a split second longer Watkins would have had a step on Sherman. Oh well moving on but those last two plays are certainly on many of our minds still lol.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills They lose They will be 3-3 with the two conference games coming against struggling Arizona and NY G They need to win those for sure This^by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteClassicalwit The Jaguar defense makes big plays. It just destroyed a good Steelers offense. If the Rams can somehow win this game they can keep a good position in the standings. If they lose, then ... ... well, let's not even think about such things. Big Ben is well not Big Ben anymore. Yes Jacksonville is improving but this isn't New England or Kansas City this Sunday. Rams loseby Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff made the correct decision on this play IMO. It's the next play where I think he should have gone to Watkins who was one on one with Sherman.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
Arizona and NYG are both bad football teams. Cards should be 0-5 right now. We're horrible yesterday against Philly. 5-3 going into the Houston game and this team will be in the playoff conversation the entire season. Arizona and Giants are the two games they must take care of.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
You have to make him more of a priority to get him the ball period. 8-10 touches per game minimum. For some crazy reason that's the game plan with Austin. Look around the league today. Quite a few #receivers had big games and they are being doubled and covered by the best CB's.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
At the end of the day Rams 5th best receiver. Yes Reynolds is better than him. Has Austin had a ball thrown to him past the line of scrimmage? Yes I agree with others in that McVay will continue to find a way to use him but so expendable come next year.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com

Donald and Watkins 1A and 1B. They both need to be resigned. 2. Tru 3. Ogletree but only if he goes back to the outside. Has to be also a very team friendly contract. Joyner can walk as far as I'm concerned.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
This game is simply a great measuring stick to see where this team is currently. No more no less. Something that I for one am looking forward to. Season continues the following Sunday against Seattle at home which is a much bigger game then this Sunday. Whatever happens in Dallas doesn't change such.by Barf33 - RamsFootballFans.com
