Anybody know the terms of Brockers' extension? That's kinda important, don't you think?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Don't think either Johnson or Gruden are the least bit interested in returning to the HC ranks, anymore. Certainly not for the Rams. They're both enjoying their jobs and working conditions these days. Can we blame them?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
We saw on Hard Knocks that all of the Ram coaches knew how to hurl F bombs, huh? Wouldn't it be nice if, instead, they knew how to prep a team for opening day against a lightly regarded opponent? Food for thought...by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jeff Fisher coached teams are where QB's, WR's, and TE's go to die. Unfortunately, we are likely to have to endure 15 more games as evidence of the above.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
From Tomsula to Chip Kelly was night and day for the Niners. From league doormat in '15 to a team that simply abused the Rams for 60 minutes in front of a MNF audience. We've all seen this movie before, huh? We were outplayed by a country mile last night. We were out coached by a country mile, too. A very bad combination, indeed. They quickly made us one dimensional. And a one dby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedzrams yeah I got nothing! But I am glad I was working and didn't watch that mess. Be even more happy that you didn't travel and spend big bucks to watch that mess in person, dz. Can you imagine how those guys feel right now?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Know what's scary? The Niners were supposed to be one of our "easiest" games. Our other opponents are considered much more challenging. Lol.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemerlin You were right about Fisher. Hate to say it man, but it is what it is. The dude cannot field a good offense. And now the questions are right there to be asked about the move up for Goff, how he can't beat out the "veteran" who supposedly gives you the best chance to win, why they weren't capable of coaching him up to be ready for this game, etc. Then the further questiby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Looked far worse than "7-9 BS" to me. Far, far worse. Humiliating... Inexcusable...by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
A very short list, indeed. Britt Hekker Coaches and players otherwise formed a circular firing squad and commenced firing at will. Enough mental and physical mistakes in this game to last for a whole season. An utter FUBAR...by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I had been hoping against hope that somehow Fisher could redeem himself with this staff and this roster. But, NOOOOO! This opener was a splash of icy cold water to hopeful Ram fans. Gonna be a long year, y'all... The GSOT seems like a thousand years ago now, doesn't it? I'm just sick...by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog Quotealyoshamucci Physically ill. Feel the same. Rams' performance was pathetic and the 49er cheer squad in the booth made it all the worse. Yeah, Dog. Berman and Young made it even more "special", huh? Lol.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think that a healthy Gurley is a threat to put up 100+ in any given game, ARF. It's scarcely more than the average game for a 1500 yard RB. And since I think he's now the top RB in the league...by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Keenum is not the QB to put a team on his back and carry them to victory with superhuman feats. Clearly... But if you give him a good OL, a RB like Gurley, a TE like Higbee/Kendricks, weapons like Britt and Austin, a top 10 D, and good ST's, then yeah, he can get you his fair share of wins. A classic placeholder for Goff, iow. An outstanding backup once Goff takes the reins. We're forby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

I'm not now saying that we should have taken Wentz instead of Goff, although that was my pre draft preference. I posted that Ramswire piece for entertainment value while we await our Niner game tonight. Like RFL, I think both QB's are gonna be just fine. Upper third franchise types for 12-15 years. Maybe even better. But let's don't kid ourselves that Wentz is not ahead of Goff at this pby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Well, welcome to the asylum, 1380. Know what I gathered from your opening post? You kinda remind me of me. Lol.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
You do realize that we all fully expect another of your outstanding game reports, don't you? One that perfectly captures the "fan in the stands" experience for us? That makes us all feel as if we were actually there with you? Lol.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Thoughts?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Will we see some substantial use of Gurley in the passing attack? Would LOVE to see that. Perhaps Hemingway will get some targets as a hybrid TE/WR since we are short handed with healthy WR's? The less I see of Quick on the field, the better.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
More than just one key tonight, for me. Will our starting O be effective in the passing game now that the "wraps" are finally off? I mean, significantly better than the league's worst of last year? Better be, huh? What will the "new" Tavon look like once unleashed? I'm eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the Higbee/ Kendricks TE tandem tonight. Might be quite effective.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLesBaker I'm just curious because of his high level of turdliness. Suh does have an exceptionally high turdiness index, Les. Lol. But I think Wilson actually snagged his foot on the turf all by himself. I watched it a couple of times. I give Suh a pass on this one.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemax Or were you in the minority like me? I'm beginning to worry about you a little bit, max. I've been consistently against a Fisher extension for over a year. I favored firing him after last season. First he posts a 10-6 or better season, THEN he gets his extension. No 10-6 record? He's gotta be outta here. And btw, I'm not so sure that we're in the minority, either.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
I love this former Sooner. Wish he could have been wearing horns, somehow. Sigh...by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not too bad for the kid from a a small school that only got a bit of experience in a portion of one preseason game before injury. Not to mention that his OL is not considered among the league's best. Eagle coaches are looking like geniuses right about now. Dak Prescott is impressing the hell out of me so far, too. Sigh...by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
We're being treated to a match of wits between Linehan and Spagnoulo. How rich is that? Lol.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, they play them one game at a time, so we kinda have to talk about them one game at a time, zn. Wentz had a helluva debut in his first game. But, to be fair, we should wait and see if Goff has maybe just as good of a game, or maybe even better vs the Niners, okay? Oh wait..... Like I said, week one goes to Wentz. Clearly... For the record? I still think Goff is gonna be oby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
