Quotedodgerram Well, I remember those discussions. Depends on what stat you are preferring. Fact is: When was the last time the Rams recently drafted a true superstar ? Kupp for sure. Donald for sure. Gurley ? Yes, at least for the limited time he was here. No other superstar or even star player other than those 3 guys. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Rams are below average drafters looking at the league. And that probably is being kind. QuoteRamsdude Was he "cheap"? Was he a "bargain"? Was he worth letting Gay walk for the "net" difference in price? Inquiring minds want to know! Here’s an excerpt from a current Ramswire article. “ As badly as everyone would’ve loved for the Rams to re-sign Matt Gay, it’s hard to blame them for letting him walk. Quotedodgerram Rams just are not good drafters. No coincidences that they have been better off trading high picks for established players. Go Rams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 Rams not good drafters? They just kept all 14 of their picks this year. Geez…by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Mark my words, dude, Rams will be running nickel and even dime packages as their base this year. In fact, it’s now an NFL trend. That’s why Rams tend to devalue ILB position behind Jones. They’re simply not gonna be running it much.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills excellent? Hmmm ok if you say so 43 :banghead Seriously, Speed, Rams have some talent at both CB and particularly at S for nickel and dime packages. Trust me.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Two things. Why would Grier sign with Bengals for their practice squad when he coulda been on Rams 53? THAT makes zero sense to me any way I look at it. Since Rams are #6 on waiver wire priority, it seems that only one of the top 5 teams could claim Grier ahead of us. Bengals are definitely not one of them. QuoteSpeed_Kills I mean they have to get a kicker...so we know that will happen but the Rams scouring the waiver wire for edge rushers should tell everyone how bad off they are there... and honestly after Earnest Jones their ILB are laughable We know that they need Edge help in the worst way. Far, far better than a udfa QB. But his regression trend line in games 2 and 3 are puzzling. What changed? Other than his surrounding players became increasingly less talented each game? He went from razor sharp accuracy to inexplicable interceptions. From great decisions to staring down receivers and then throwing into double and even triple coverage. Rams O should be very respectable, maybe even a bit better than that. ST are a work in progress. Earlier I had thought that they would be pretty solid by now. But here we are with no kicker and a promising punter who is still learning about out kicking his coverage and the value of coffin corner kicks. Coverage teams are still unknown and unproven.
