Welp reading that 43 I must not be bringing it strong enough IF in the X's and O's department you have McVay a close 2nd. McVay's offense well Grudens offense is basic. McDaniels runs a much more diverse offense than McVay. What about X's and O's do you like about McVay? I may have phrased that pby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
No what they actually did was instead of a complete install they gradually introduced the changes. Do some more reading on Gruden and Washington's offense, don't just stop at one article. And if you watched any football, you would see how divergent they are.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
IF you are convinced you have your guy, there is no reason to interview anyone else. IF they are wrong it will all come out in the wash. But at this point today, nobody has any idea how this will turnout. Anyone acting otherwise, is operating from a position of "bias".by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePHDram Pierre Garcon thinks its about the same. “It’s not much of a difference from the offense last year, to tell you the truth,” wide receiver Pierre Garcon said as he walked off the field at Redskins Park following one offseason practice. “It’s the same offensive coordinating guys from last year.” and mcvay was the TE coach under shanahan btw. so while it is certainly jay gruden'sby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBlue and Gold I dunno, it's a crap shoot. Shanny may be lacking in organization skills, the head coach stuff, McVay may be great, a little organizational behavior genius I don't know ... both are locked to their own schemes, so they better fit our pieces.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com

Made me cut mine short, didn't want any duplication! :confusedby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
He showed signs of wearing down this season in a 4-3, playing the MO in Wade's defense would be a problem IMO. So maybe they would need just two additional pieces to run it! But his defense also likes strong coverage corners. We don't have that!!by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Its not even close man. We're looking at Kyle's offense now and I'm fascinated with his zone blocking scheme and the way it sets up play-action and option plays. They way he freezes pursuing backside defenders. Its a wide zone run game which is fascinating. His inside handoffs, shovel passes, the way he uses his two back sets as wingbacks and receivers out of the backfield. Devonta hadby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
I love Wade Phillips but I'm just not seeing the personnel. I don't see the 4 techs or the ilb's to mrun his scheme effectively. Do you think it would work?by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRampage2K- Reading that stuff about the offense is what this guy brings....it's like the anti-Fisher offense!!!! Imaginative, unpredictable, attacking, ass kicking offense!!!! Sign me up!!!!!!by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAlbaNY_Ram "I would throw Kenny Britt out in a sec for Garcon." I get that, but I wonder how much better Britt would be on a team with a real OC and a real WR coach to work with.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com

because he had to share catches with one of the best te's in football Jordan Reed, D-Jax and Crowder. He wasn't the featured receiver as Britt was. Its not even close between the two. But I forgot about this about McVay so you can take this one way or the other but Garcon complained about teh way he was being used by McVay. McVay shortened his routes and wasn't taking advantage of his aby laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote9er8er The best organization in the market for a head coach with a VP of Football Ops and GM who played for and won Super Bowls with Mike Shanahan steered away from Kyle Shanahan. So should the Rams. Because he was the runner-up in a previous coaching search. It was the worst kept secret in sports. Says more about Joseph than it does anyone else.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlramz if McVay is it, he better bring in some of his boys to show the locals how the system is supposed to be run. I've always that Garcon was fairly underrated. Would love to see D. Jackson in horns. Obviously every coach brings in "their guys" to help with the system that would make sense in this case. Like D-Jax I would be hesitant to give him what he wants in freeby laram - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteoldschoolramfan This is what I really want right now. Anthony Lynn, rushing attack has been one of the best, if not the best in the NFL. Phillips, He just won a SB with his defense. McVay....The energy this team needs as a HC. This would be a great way to go IMHO.by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
He wasn't ready organizationally but I would still run through a wall for the guy. Rams wanted to know if I wanted to upgrade my tickets. To what I'm not 100% sure but I told them yeah if they're hiring Shanny Jr. No on baby Gruden!by laram - RamsFootballFans.com
