Painful if he's still on the ballot by the time AD's turn comes around. Holt, Donald, then the third one's harder to figure. A few Rams could be senior candidates. Harold Jackson, Ed Meador. Cowherd is not much different than other talking heads who say things just for clicks. He probably doesn't believe it himself. Stafford was under appreciated nationally while in Detroit. You could argue his prime years were wasted and the perception of him would be much different, if he hadn't been drafted by a franchise rebuilding from the ground up. For much of the AD era the Rams were real thin at outside pass rush and had to keep looking outside the organization (Dante Fowler, Clay Matthews, Leonard Floyd, Von Miller) to get help. Ramsey was the ultimate chess piece where the Rams could move him around and line him up anywhere. And he absolutely supressed the passing offenses of other teams. Late December of 2021 Ramsey went up against Justin Jefferson and made him a non factor in his coverage. The most physical tackling corner in the league and defended the line of scrimmage so well. What are they doing with Stetson Bennett then? McVay has worked with and had success with young QBs before, lol. McVay and Goff went to a Super Bowl together. Firebombing the Vikings defense or the Monday Night Madness game against the Chiefs. 2018 season when Goff was 24 was still McVay's best offense.
