I was thinking that if on roster on week 1, his salary is guaranteed for year. That does not hold for players added this week.

Heard on NFL Network that he took the call from the chargers at his best friend's funeral. He was a pallbearer and gave a eulogy. I remember how hard it was for me when my best friend passed away while we were in college. Only Puka and Kupp are signed at WR for 25. Might want to grab one for that reason. Same issue with ILB.

Including the Rams pick, there were 7 DTs picked in front of the Rams original draft pick, so if they did not jump up, they would not have the same options. The top DT left, Hall, did not make blinkscout's top 73 which was his cut off for the top 2 rounds.

The league tends to value a pick next year as worth a pick a round later in the current year. Rock, This is a depth signing. He is a possible 6th WR if he makes the squad. This has no impact on whether or not they go WR earlier.

The Falcons will not lose a #1 prior to this draft. If they lose a #1 (I doubt it), they will lose it in 2025. The NFL has to investigate and then determine a punishment. They will not do this with so little time left in this draft.

Wilson has a 1.05 million base salary and a 4.4 million roster bonus. So that is 5.4 million for a 3rd string QB.
