I think if he plays two more seasons and remains healthy during that time that he can be in the top 5. Rothlesberger is only at 64,000 and Stafford is right below 60,000. So, if Stafford can throw for just above 2k over the next couple seasons he can easily occupy the number 5 spot. I don't really think he can get to 70,000 though.by GlacieRam - RamsFootballFans.com

It's easy to SAY trade down. But you have to find a trade partner who really wants to trade up in order to facilitate a trade down. What players would be available and what TEAMS would be so enamored with said player(s) that they would want to trade up for them? It's not whether or not he can still play. That's a given. He's a redundancy. You have a player in Nacua who the team sees as eclipsing Kupp and also Whittington, who is in and of himself an able replacement. It's unfortunate but Kupp is expendable in this scenario from the team's perspective. As much of a Kupp fan as I am, I must admit that I agree.by GlacieRam - RamsFootballFans.com

I love Kupp. Always will. When he went down and Puka took his place in the offense, the offense didn't miss a beat. Nacua grabbed ahold of that opportunity and didn't look back. The kid used those games to establish that he was a star that you can't have on the sidelines. Unfortunately, Kupp and Nacua are the same type of receiver. Who do you sit? For me, it's not just the "lost" fumbles. It's the fumbles period. Any fumbles. Just because he got lucky and recovered, or if it was recovered by a teammate is a moot point for me. Like a couple of others have already said, the Rams will move him for peanuts. Where would some possible landing places be where they are seeking to "continue to win championships"? Buffalo? Philly? Kansas City? I'm not sure, but NO team is going to give up much imho. The Rams will probably even have to include a draft pick or two. I'm with you 43 and I really do hope Williams can "learn" better ball security. He seems committed to doing so, only the season will tell us if his efforts pay off. I, along with everyone else on the board, want him to succeed. BUT........ a contingency plan must be aggressively, imho, pursued. This years crop of college running backs is perfect for just that. Absolutely. It was unfortunate that his arm was broken and it ended up costing him any post season action. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what he will bring next year. Personally, I'd draft William's replacement in rounds 3-5 depending on who falls and pair him with Corum. I completely agree Classical. Rams are a SSSLLLLLOOOOWWWWW team especially and most notably at receiver. And HOW can you let Barkeley have AGAIN two 60+yard rushing TD's and nearly 200 yards rushing?
