Whats your list? Keith Jackson Pat sumerall Howard cosell Al michaels Frank Gifford John madden I put them well above ANY of the current ones . This probably has been previously covered. Im showing my age but these are mine in no particular order except Keith Jackson my clear favorite. He dominated college football! And I agree with you 100% Rock. I felt he was possibly better than wolford and Perkins so I was hopeful. I could not understand why the Rams could not find better options than those two. I hoped stetson had the intangibles to make a difference as he WAS successful in college. He reminded me abit like Drew Brees. But he definately is swimming upstream against a hard current. But now we are here anby LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
I dont think you have the facts and neither do I. If it was appropriate that you should know.. I assume you and I both would. But we dont for a good reason im sure. Could be legal and could be medical. He DOES have a right to his privacy. I would also as a surgeon leaving my practice for a year. You may want to know but I would also be protected by patient privacy laws if I had cancer, dependenby LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
I think EVERYONE no matter what their job is, has a right to privacy as a patient regarding medical issues. And perhaps management does know but had the integrity to keep it private. It certainly is NOT our right (as fans) to know if he does not want to disclose it. He has no obligation to us. .by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com

At this point, how would the Rams have enough money to sign him to the contract he might want? (If this is a possibility, they didnt want to or could not on the first attempt this year.) maybe a Super Bowl run late in the season could change some plans.by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com

This ALSO makes a QB higher priority NOW. (Since it is unlikely they will draft this high soon and Stafford not going to stay long.) they can get Dlineman lower in draft than QB. My wife is friends with ADs wife. I know they like McCarthy (michigan) and he has been working out in South Cal here with lots eyes on him.by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com

A big defensive lineman with our first pick that requires double teams to help AD Im manifesting!by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe their success with Young from tennessee will limit their apetite to over pay in FA. They are probably very confident in their draft process and dont really need that much to be in strong contention IMHOby LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe he can try to derail the tush push and stop the constant triple teams on AD!by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe they can find a Brock Purdy or Kurt Warner again :)by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't really care how this "looks" and how "fair" this is to anyone, or how it's a "show of loyalty" for working his way up the ranks. I only care about how good Shula is going to be as DC and if McVay thinks he is going to be great then I love it. There are tons of NFL coaches that have worked hard and risen in the ranks and may deserve it. I don't care. Get thby LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
I would love to see Chris jones (KC free agent) get combined with AD next year. Not enough linemen to block those two with anyone else on the line!by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
And he certainly does not have Staffords arm which was a problem on several plays. But he has played really well and the lions receivers and failure to get field goals on 4th down are the easy places to place blameby LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
I would think however the NFL would want Detroit instead of SF? Better story imo and only team never to appear?by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
Such a senseless decision. He doesn't deserve it.by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
Such a compliment to McVay but must also be so tiresome and demoralizing. The Rams must be near the top for coaches getting poached in the past 6 years. Even more highlights his achievements with stressed coaching continuity.by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree 100%. I trust management fully and they understand the situation and all options clearly better than any of us.by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com

Tend to agree even clearly without knowing all the facts. His previous resume that got him hired by McVay did not appear to be good enough to even get an interview. Wade is almost 80. Not sure he would want to stand that long on the sidelines of the game.by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he has done an excellent job. The main problem I see remains to be timing. If he leaves now, we have a lot of choices for staff. If he leaves later the choices diminish. I'm almost thinking (pure speculation) that McVay assumes he will finally get his gig. Maybe Henderson was not led to believe he was not going to get DC so he left. Pure speculation. However with so many vacancies McVay eby LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree totally with you. Hoecht is a freak at 300 lbs able to play special teams and ASKED to cover receivers. He just can't do it as well as needed. He seems to be the possible fit for a fantastic tight end or goal line fullback!by LaDoc - RamsFootballFans.com
