While I've had my issues with Gurley and Fisher I take great issue with these OL collectively deflecting blame.by no name - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh brother. That's an off the cuff statement from a bitter man. Goff is a notorious hard worker. He showed heart on the field. Saffold lays on the field like it's his job. I have never seen an offensive linemen that I assumed by his reaction is done for the year every time he gets a cramp.by no name - RamsFootballFans.com
There has to be some context. I doubt he volunteered this memory. Either way, it's already known that Russell was a Davis pick and that Davis forced him to play.by no name - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAl45 I wanted the Rams to draft Wentz but they drafted the pretty boy and his noodle arm. Goff was a terrible pick. He is skinny, slow, and weak. I'm hoping they give up on him and move on soon. The Rams need to tank games either next year or the year after for Sam Darnold. Darnold is a stud. Skinny? Noodle arm? No need to debate against sensation. Goff is a mechanically sound qb who is known for accuracy and a good ball. That was before the Rams. The OL, lack of effort coupled with bad drops by his mates have harmed his timing. He and the Rams have zero room for error and that hurts any qb. With any level of competent coaching and his mates making plays he will get the confidence in those around him.by no name - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff has a track record of proving it, albeit as an amateur. Fisher has a track record of saying and doing nothing.by no name - RamsFootballFans.com

He needs some things to go right for him to gain momentum. This is the start of a broken QB. No blocks and drops breaks a young QB. I really hope he has some good things happen to get the inertia and confidence.by no name - Game Time Forum

Dude....I've got to ask why it is that no matter what Wentz does poorly you give him an excuse but it sure seems like everything Goff does right you minimize it? Even the day the Rams drafted Goff you said he wouldn't be respected because he looks too in place. I can't get over that. Wentz is a great young QB. I wanted him too but Goff has gifts that you don't seem to care about. I'm hoping toby no name - RamsFootballFans.com

If you were right then we can throw out every scout who even penned "runs with heart and determination". In this case, Gurley does not have the fight that we saw in him last year. You know who did have the heart and will? Goff!!! He sacrificed himself to score a TD. He could have went out of bounds but he had the fire. The pull to the end zone? Quotemax When I heard Fisher say he didn't think he was in the Rams future plans for the new stadium it added more reason to believe he wasn't the mastermind behind the trade. Keyshawn is adamant that Fisher didn't want the trade up. So who was? If he didn't think he was in the plans then why sign that big old contract that was plopped on him? I think he got fat in the head and gut. The move had to have taken time and effort. Fast forward to the season and Todd needs to cut weight in a fast fashion. This left him weak. Next step was that things went wrong and it doesn't look like he took it right. He probably blames everyone else but himself (his body language supports this) and he shelled himself. His will isn't there. This isby no name - RamsFootballFans.com
The difference between Goff and Gurley running is that Goff was running with heart and will. I've not seen that from Todd.by no name - RamsFootballFans.com

Gurley is being transparent. He's cracking the ol. Much like him standing around being a bad teammate starring down Havenstein and the shaking his head at him for everyone to see. He's being a baby on the field and showing them up. If I was Havs I would be having words. If and of the rbs I played with did that I'd be putting challenging them behind closed doors.
