This was a slower group of TEs as a group. Only Arroyo ran in the 4.5 range. The faster TEs in the league off the top of my head are Kittle, who actually ran low 4.5 and La Porta a high 4.5 like, 4.58 or something. But, yeah, Ferguson's RAS was great for size, speed, and agility. I hope he puts in the work and becomes great.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm actually excited about the TE. He seems like he has a real chance. As far as the edge player, I know the Rams like him, but it bothers me that he's short. The Rams seem to love smaller players. Les Snead even msde a comment in the press conference that "He's a smaller player, not the biggest or the strongest, but has the 'want to.' He's like a lot of our guys". I'm paraphrasby Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Dead, can we really expect the players still left to be able to come in and help the Rams at MLB? Isn't it more likely that they don't see the field for a year or more or do you think that the Rams current linebackers are that bad that a rookie drafted in rounds 4-7 has a chance to start.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Is that true?by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I agree with that.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Mid just meaning that he ran a 4.64 as opposed to a 4.61 or a 4.68. To whit: 4.60 - 4.63 (low) 4.64 - 4.66 (mid) 4.67 - 4.69 (high) It just describes a range of a particular time. I'm a track runner, so I don't just say that I ran a 32 second 200 meters I qualify it by saying I ran a low 32 or a mid 32, etc.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I would think so.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
He looks faster than you would thin for 4.6 mid speed, and I think it's because he has really good running form. Like, he shows an extra gear in the open field. He needs to lower his COG more at the POC but he shows a willingness to take on tacklers. A lot of what I read on the internet labeled him as a backup with the potential to develop into a reliable contributor. His RAS score was goodby Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
4.6?by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Very strange indeed.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams are having a very strange draft.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Probably looking to develop him over the next couple of years. Or maybe a situational player?by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
He's pretty slow too.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm crazy! The Seahawks drafted this guy, not the Raiders. I read Seahawks, but thought Pete Carroll.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Picking up some outstanding athletes.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I think they want to pick up a 4th or 5th round pick.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Ha! I thought the Raiders would get this guy. Pete Carroll really likes big safeties; the Rams don't value the position that much and they like guys who can play CB as well. That means smaller athletes.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Ravens, Steelers, Eagles, Raiders, or 49ers type. Give up some of those 6th and 7th round picks for crying out loud!by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Both of them are slow, no? Fannin is as slow as molasses.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think he's their kind of player though. They'd probably prefer a jack- of-all-trades guy. This guy might end up being someone you would have to pay prime rate for on a second contract.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsdude... the Rams don't value the LB position very highly ... It's this more than anything. I think the same thing goes for safety. They view it as a position that you can fill with scrubs or with the dregs of late round picks. I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped out of the second round TBH. I think they are looking for cheap contracts this year. I'm not so sure that they want toby Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks! I love how they list 40 times.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com

And lose those throw away picks in the 6th and 7th rounds.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't think they need to. Not a lot of great prospects. I certainly wouldn't waste a 2nd or 3rd round pick on a backup QB, and anyone drafted in the 6th or 7th is there for a reason.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
But I'm hoping they convert the last 5 picks into better positions on day #2.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Reeks of Bobby Wagner in 2012.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Too early to tell. If they end up trading out of the second round then they simply didn't want to pick in the early rounds of this draft or it could mean that they weren't interested in that many players this year.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Trade for two fourth round picks.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
