Well, I mean, commenting on Bosch and the author. I have to wonder, (and I'm not doubting you), is the in-fighting, back stabbing, ego, corruption, as pervasive as depicted? Because if so I can't see how they ever solve a single case. One could never turn their back on ANYONE. I didn't get that feeling so much in Bosch but in Ballard WHEW....bitterness, anger, resentment, in every chaby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
It's good. I liked Bosch quite a bit more.... that's just me. I wish John Carroll Lynch's role was a bit bigger.... (personal preference)... it's not that I think he's a much better actor than others. For whatever reason he captures my attention when on screen... in nearly all the roles I've seen him play.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
This isn't a 'greatest of all time'... I don't think that determination is even possible..... but Warner, in '99, did something I've NEVER seen any other QB do, at least not for a full game and CERTAINLY not for an entire season... Warner DID. Hitting receivers "IN STRIDE"... and I mean they didn't have to adjust a millimeter. Receivers didn't have to slow for the catch, or accelerateby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
The last time I saw Acoustic Alchemy was when Nick Webb was still alive. So a LONG time ago.... early and mid 90's. I saw them at least 5 times during that time period. They would come to Fresno every year when Fresno had their annual smooth jazz concert.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
The venue, I think I mentioned, is tiny.... I mean TINY... so the artists don't bring their entire bands... no room for them. Which is ok with me but I had a grandson and my son with me and I thought sure they would 'like it' but certainly not be wow'd by it with just a duo on stage. I got off the train and we ran to get our log... one in the shade, so I didn't look up until I was at our logby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Acoustic Alchemy at 3pm. I know... you just said to yourself... "Who in the living hell is Acoustic Alchemy"? :laughing Well, they play music. :laughing Some wine or beer tasting before the concert. Both? :laughing Then a train ride to the venue.... yes, you have to take an old steam engine train to the venue... among the pines, logs for seats. I have an extra ticket if yby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
The great ones sure make 4th quarters interesting don't they? :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess I was too focused on the culmination of that entire run. You are correct.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
What they "HAD" to do was so in your face obvious they could have called the plays using bullhorn in the huddle and it wouldn't have mattered.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Berlanda vs Sheeraz AND Stevenson vs Zepeda..... Card may have started... I don't know because I was too cheap to buy it at $60. But I have to admit that I would have loved to have seen it... which I will but in replay... not the same. That reminds me... so ok, I'm NOT making fun of those of you who do this.... I guess I can understand BUT.... Recording Ram games then staying away froby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
and while YES, there are some others who "could" have done it, (damn few), that drive to win their last SB was the most astounding thing I've ever witnessed in football.... no hyperbole, I stand by that with full conviction. Stafford and Kupp came as close as you can come to being 'miraculous'.... almost beyond human ability. I've seen many, MANY, individual plays executed AS amazby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
because that would be ridiculous, the man is phenomenal..... but, and I could be wrong, I think he's begun the downhill side of his peak. Obviously even if so he still may be the best in the NFL but I just don't think he's the QB he was 2 years ago. And so... I'm fascinated by him BECAUSE.... with experience comes wisdom, or should anyway.... and the best that ever played learned, adapted, andby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
But let me put that question in context because I am NOT using the word 'defend' as in a counter to someone not recognizing Stafford as a great QB.... Recently had a discussion, several of us and I was the ONLY Ram fan, and this was FOR FUN, nothing heated, about who was the best QB in the NFL right now.... all were naming their top 10. Obviously Biased, but I think objectively so :laughby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
And you're right.... the popularity of Alabama is fading... not forgotten.... but fading. I truly enjoyed the concert... immensely. It was different.... sure, the music, the vocals.... but what I thought best about the concert was the atmosphere created by Randy Owens and Teddy Gentry.... so 'personal'. It was like "We did this together"... meaning the band, of course, but the faby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I am not a conspiracy theorist. About as far from that as it gets. But I'm also honest, at least I try hard to be honest and I often wonder.... Do they really want to cure cancer? - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Do you know what type of cancer? Same here... lost many friends and family to cancer. About as many to heart problems. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
For years I've have speculated about vacuum tubes and transportation. IOW... most likely a 'train' traveling in a vacuum tube... how fast could it go? Well today I wondered, "hey, maybe I could google that".... well, I did, (duckduckGo'd it).... and GOT AN ANSWER! Well, a theoretical one. The article I read said that theoretically a train in a vacuum tube could hit speeds of 2,5by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
But then again....like you said..... if it wasn't you it would have been someone else... or nobody else and maybe just a bird chirping or a dog farting.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I can only imagine how well these teams know each other. I often wonder when game planning how the coaches know when to conclude the "Well, I know that he knows than I know that he knows than I know that he knows that I know......". Divisional opponent games are fantastic, and heart pounding. You never know.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Starting as a fan around 1958 it wasn't until 1967 that I saw our Ram's become one of the 'elite'... .and then... it just kept on a'going. I often list the 70's as the 'golden' years but in truth the 80's were nearly as great. My point being... when I first found other fans, the internet, we were in the midst of those horrible 90's. I can remember... Back then making post after post after pby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

it's more McVay. But I think his time has come... he'll be giving full opportunity. Might even get more targets than we'd expect. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Rams Chronicles
I think staying healthy is the Key. When they can do that... which they admittedly struggle with.... seems to me the OL progresses and solidifies nicely during the season. I would expect nothing different this year.... again, as long as they stay healthy. Except for a few truly GREAT RB's I think the spread in RB strength from top to bottom across the NFL is a narrow one. Far more narrowby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
and really really difficult. I lean Detroit or SF. But one thing I'm somewhat sure about.... not all the current favorites will be in the running this year. Someone, plural?), will fall this year. Who?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
