Firework was a HUGE Katy Perry hit when it was released in 2010. It was used in a few tv commercials and was a theme for a lot of organizations dealing with mental health, cancer, bullying, Special Olympics, etc. I didn't know who Katy Perry was at the time, but I'd heard that song many times on tv and radio. I'm not real sure myself what the hub-bub is about and I refuse to read about it cause it just doesn't feel like it's worth my time, but I THINK it has something to do with Katy Perry kissing the ground when the privileged-6 returned to earth. He's talented, personable, funny, and down-to-earth. There's a Culver's about 2 miles from where I live. In fact, it's right next door to a Burger King. There's also a Culver's about 10 miles from here that we drive by every Thursday on our way back and forth to grandson's dance class. We are always amazed that the drive-thru lane around 6 pm in both locations has cars wrapped all the way around the building. We've only eaten there once. Iby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub

There are 2 Burger King's in my neck of the woods.... a standalone about 2 miles from my house, and another which is inside a Wal-Mart about 6 miles from my house. I've never been to either one. I think the last time I ate at a Burger King was about 25 years ago. What I remember is that I didn't care for the texture of the burger meat. Oh, I'm just full of diversity... :) I'm female I'm African-American I'll be 74 in December I've been a member of The Herd since way back when The Rams website had a fans message board. I think that was about 23 years ago. When that went away... I found The Herd and have been here ever since. First of all, when I was a teen living in Wichita, Kansas, I wasn't allowed to hang out. My parents forbid it so I didn't do it. They felt like it's just trouble waiting to happen. They weren't entirely wrong. But for most teens in Wichita back in MY day, the hangout was a couple of hamburger joints along Douglas Blvd. Hanging out was primarily on Friday and Saturday nights, though. All good here. They'd been saying all week that Wednesday was gonna be a day treacherous weather. It wasn't, at least not in St. Louis. It got a bit windy and we had some rain, but no tornadoes came through my neck of the woods. But there's still the problem for a surfer of what to do with their keys, phones, etc while they're out in the water. They can't take that stuff with them. Hiding it on land isn't fool-proof either. So, what do they do? And any kind of event, i.e., concerts, church services, school functions, sporting events, that would leave vehicles unattended for hours are fair game for thieves.
