Despite the shortcomings you listed, the Dodgers have been in first place in the NL West since the season started, so from where I sit... things look pretty good. On the other hand, the cardiac Cardinals have been in last place in the NL Central all season. For the 3rd season in a row now, they're unrecognizable. .by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
I would never pay $1,000 for concert tickets no matter who was performing. No, not for my grandson and not even to see one of my favorite artists. That's just more money than I'm willing to spend. I was just trying to make a point to my grandson as to why I was saying NO. Frank and I are, however, going to see Brian Culbertson in August. It's a 2-day jazzfest kinda thing but Culbertson dby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
My 7-year old grandson wanted to see the Taylor Swift Eras Tour in the worse way. St Louis was not one of the tour stops so in order for him to go meant finding a concert venue for him and his mom in a location that had 2 tickets to spare (all her concerts are sold out). It also meant plane tickets, hotel reservations, meals out of town, transportation, in addition to the cost of the concert tiby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
Back then the studios controlled the actors lives. They groomed them, determined their looks, their public persona, even the name they used. So many stars had huge secrets back then, i.e., Clark Gable's affair with Loretta Young and their illegitimate child. Rock Hudson... you could go on on and on. That's not the case today.by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub

I sensed something was up during football season but didn't want to ask you because I couldn't ask without prying and I really didn't want to do that. I figured if there was anything you wanted us to know, you'd tell us. But you've dropped a few breadcrumbs along the way so.... although I'm not shocked at the news... QuoteJamesJM Glass I mean. I found it odd that I had never heard of that movie until seeing it listed on Netflix. I'm stuck right now.....I'm VERY into 3 TV series? Maybe 4... reason I can't remember is that ALL of them are delayed in streaming their upcoming seasons. It's been a full year since one of them ran. I realize it's early in the UFL season, but he hasn't missed yet and all but 1 or 2 his Field Goals have been over 50 yards. I said it after his 1st game when he nailed the 64-yarder that he looks like the real deal.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
I have felt the earth move maybe twice in the 30 years I've lived in St. Louis. It just left me feeling queezy for a couple of minutes. Very strange and unsettling feeling. It's my understanding that the New Madrid Seizmic Zone spans across 5 states but that St Louis is north of the epicenter. If there was an earthquake, damage here probably wouldn't be catastrophic, but who knows?by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub

St Louis is in the 99% path, I think. It's supposed to happen around 2:00 pm. RAMbeau and I have no plans to be outside trying to watch the eclipse. It's just not that important to us. Besides, we don't have the special glasses needed. There will be massive tv coverage so we'll see that. Yes they are!! Not sure what it is but to me the spring leagues are more entertaining in general. Did you see the 62 and 52 yd field goals made today by that Jake Bates kid who's the kicker for the Michigan Panthers? He made a 64 yd FG twice last week! I'm just wondering now which NFL team he'll end up with.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
No offense taken at all, sst. I didn't know it either. I just checked him out on FB out of curiosity and there it was. I was really just trying to say that I could understand why you'd think that about him. Listen my last name is Beineke and I have an Anglo-Saxon sound to my voice. He was only 57! But I see he was at a rehab facility at the end. I don't think he's posted on The Herd in years, but I do remember his screenname from back in the day. So sorry to hear this..by MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
I'm not a basketball fan and haven't watched a minute of basketball this season. I used to get mildly interested when they got down to the Sweet 16 but this year, basketball just doesn't interest me... not even Caitlin Clark. I'm vaguely aware of what's going on but I don't follow it, watch it, read about it or anything like that. Baseball season just started so I'm into that now. I did, howeby MamaRAMa - Bucky's Pub
Single seats at the Dome to watch the Battlehawks this year can be had anywhere from $18 - $107 per ticket. I think the team will have a decent turnout on game days this season but it won't be the numbers we saw last year.by MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com
UFL attendance gets off to so-so start • By Mike Florio Published March 31, 2024 09:26 AM The NFL had a blackout rule for decades because it wanted televised games to look like a big deal with images of full stands. The inverse is also true; empty stands will make it harder for fans at home to feel compelled to watch. That’s been one of the challenges of spring football in recent years, fby MamaRAMa - RamsFootballFans.com

It can't be any worse than the Cardinals getting absolutely schooled and humiliated by the media darling, and perfect billionaire club called the Dodgers. Cardinals are playing in L.A. Panthers won 18-16. The kicker hadn't kicked since high school. There was 8 seconds left in the game and he came out and nailed it, no problem His name is Jake Bates. The last 2 minutes of that game was pretty doggone exciting with an unlikely Battlehawks TD and then that jaw-dropping FG. I watched The Ten Commandments and The Wizard of Oz every year from childhood until about 15 years ago. It's always shown around Easter but to me The Ten Commandments has never been an Easter movie because the focus of the movie is on Moses... not Jesus.
