They seem like one of those team of destiny stories right now, or at least the loveable underdogs. Lindor would be MVP if Ohtani didn’t exist. If Alonzo heats up they’re even more formidable. I’m no expert but I think the Mets have a really good starting rotation, Overall the Dodgers seem to have the more talented roster though. Go Blue Jays!by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
I’m glad Iowa mentioned that it’s getting great reviews, that way I don’t feel like I’m overselling it. I look forward to finding out what everyone thinks about it when they finally see it.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
It is absolutely beautiful in every way. I had to work hard not to ugly cry several times. So many messages beyond the surface. Amazing animation. Best movie I’ve seen in quite some time.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
I grew up a Reds fan and remain one now, although proximity has made the Blue Jays my main team. My childhood memories of Rose are still the strongest. All of the stars of the Big Red Machine could do no wrong as far as I was concerned and I still see them all through that lens. Even when Rose’s warts became obvious later on, I still mostly saw him with my 10 year old eyes. The never quit attitby canadaram - Bucky's Pub

With the beefing up of the interior oline, I was excited to see the Rams establish a running game early this year. However, it seemed like they weren’t going to have any luck versus the Lions. Not sure how much of that is related to injuries and how much was the Lions stout run D. Anyway, I didn’t get too worked about the lack of rushing attempts in game one as so many of the passes were of theby canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
Of all the many, many of movies that I’ve loved Jones in “Field of Dreams” is the first movie that I think of when I hear his voice and that includes Star Wars. What a loss.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Yeah, not a terrible draft by any metric. Late round picks who are still kicking around the league and Atwell, Jones and Brown are still important pieces on their teams. Aside from the Rams not taking Creed Humphrey, I don’t have any major criticisms regarding this draft.by canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
Up here, we Canadians know that our best hope for success in the men’s 4 x 100 is the Americans struggling with the exchange. What a race! De Grasse had to fight for it on the anchor. Nothing was decided at that point. My favourite moment of the Olympics.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
We had a nice winter last year, but the last few winters up to that were pure hell. I questioned my sanity for choosing to live here on a daily basis. The six months of freezing temperatures make me really appreciate the other six months though. It also makes me appreciate family trips to warm beaches.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Perhaps that’s cheating because I already live on the North shore of Lake Superior in Northern Ontario, but that area of Minnesota instantly relaxes me every time I am there. So much to do if you are into the outdoors. Amazing trail systems on state park land, rivers, waterfalls. Great alpine skiing at Lutsen, great Nordic skiing on the already mentioned trails once the snow flies. It’s just a beby canadaram - Bucky's Pub
I ask the same questions all the time. Unless a player has his head positioned at a particular angle the horns look like crescent moons to me.by canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
Additionally, I found the coverage on Canadian TV (CBC) cringey. They were interviewing athletes on the boat and it just felt uncomfortable for me, not sure that I can articulate why I felt that way, but that’s just how I felt. I’d have much rather watched them walk into a stadium, I felt like I was watching a bad version of the Rose Bowl Parade on water.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub

What the Rams currently sport on the helmets looks like a crescent moon to me. I can’t get past it. I miss the old horns.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub

Carter George, a good young prospect with some big game experience for Team Canada’s world junior team.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
He hasn't lived up to the expectations of a second round pick and Creed Humphrey's success only amplifies the disappointment for many Rams fans, but I think Atwell is still an important piece of the offense. He has good speed and last season he showed growth as a receiver. Combine that with a relatively low price tag given that he's still on his rookie contract, and it would be foolish for the Raby canadaram - RamsFootballFans.com
The shots on goal were pretty even. I don’t know how the high quality shots in net compared, but that seemed pretty equal as well. Barkov had a goal disallowed that on an offside review that was barely offside. So it was a tense game throughout. Excited for Monday, but I have no predictions.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Great actors can make anything better. I had never heard this story before seeing this commercial. He had me enthralled from the beginning, so much so that it didn’t even occur to me that a punchline was coming. I don’t have many commercials encoded in my brain, but his one has always stuck with me.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
I’ve seen most of his movies and loved him in all of them. . Kelly’s Heroes always reminds me of my dad because he loved Sutherland in that movie. However, this commercial that aired in Canada in the 90’s (?) is always what I think of first when I think of Sutherland.by canadaram - Bucky's Pub
Florida really is a talented team, and with how well Bobrovsky played in those first 3 games they look like the more complete team for sure. Matthew Tkachuk might be the most perfect playoff player in the NHL right now and Verhaeghe is a threat to score every time he’s on the ice. All that said, I’m cheering for Edmonton as well. Still a tough ask at this point, but I love that they managed to eby canadaram - Bucky's Pub
To see them outshoot Florida 13-4 (or whatever it was) in the first period was a pleasant surprise. All season, even when they were winning games before the all-star break, the Bruins were getting outshot, sometimes quite badly. Of course, it balanced out throughout the course of the game, but that was a great start. I thought the collapse was on for sure in the third, a little 2023-24 Bruins-PTSby canadaram - Bucky's Pub
