"During the broadcast, it was noted and shown that Goff had helmet communication problems. But the reaction of Buck and Aikman was just matter of fact, a description of what was going on, but no special sympathy. No outrage that it wasn't fair to the Rams to deal with that on top of already being in a cacophonous environment. No call for the game to stop until the Rams could get that fixed.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
players make mistakes, coaches make mistakes, refs make mistakes. If we make it "perfect" it would lose its uncertainty and it would be the end of it.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what makes that game so special. Not long ago the Rams would have folded in that atmosphere-and to be honest I was afraid of that happening in the 1st qtr. Indeed my wife got up and left afraid it would be a blow out. Given the circumstances I was reminded of Joseph Kennedy's " "When the situation becomes difficult, the strong will become engaged."by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Not only for us as Ram fans but also for the many who want to see the "evil empire" come to an end. I suspect the empire will be favored and that will only add to the Samson and Delilah atmosphere. I'm sure that most non Ram fans are still in disbelief at how fast this team has risen and have their doubts. There's going to be lots of money on the Empire which will only add to the interby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com

Broke my heart. However, the media still remembers that play-because it was so significant. Its their job. I don't blame them. I know we all hate the media. We call them "talking heads" and worse. But they cover a ton of sports and it their job to create an audience for advertisers. Its a business. And how many times have you heard "Tom Mack still hasn't moved". It isn't just the media. The NFL itself, the fans, grocery clerks, little kids, even the red tailed hawks in my trees are talking about it. Anyway, your right about how the Rams who came back from 13-0 to play a great, great game in a extremely difficult environment. Of course the game will be remembered by many as the blown call. So be it. Nothing anyone can do about it. Post Fisher-people aby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
"By the way, Robey-Coleman who you cited said "respect the call"." What call ? Be honest. If this were all reversed we would be "crying" just as much as the Saints fans-right ?by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
There is being a good winner with class and then there is being an ugly winner. Ugly winners can't stand the fact that there may be an asterisk next to the win or it might be tainted in some fashion. Be honest-even the NFL head of officiating apologized to the Saints saying it not only was PI but helmet to helmet. about the "hot hand". I didn't think Anderson was that "hot " today. The Rams could have easily lost today and if Gurley was healthy I would think there would be lots of criticism for not using him. That is why I think there is something going on here that the Rams and Gurley don't want people-read Pats-to know about. I get it. So if you simply want to bet on the Rams to win (i.e. no points, etc) the cost to you is that they have to win by at least 2. Sort of like an ante to begin playing.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com

the game is over if PI is called. To argue that there "could be" a fumble, etc. is nothing more than pure-but hopeful-speculation. The Saints simply sit on the ball until the clock is about out and kick a short FG-or even score. Of course there might be a missed or blocked FG or the Stadium could collapse, or 20 hungry tigers could escape the nearby zoo or... Don't get me wrong-I'm aby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
That means that Donald will have to forget about the run and get back to going after the qb. Of course that opens up the run but that alone won't beat the Rams. They need to get to the Patriots real weapon-Brady. He's human and if he gets thrown around a lot he will make mistakes and the Rams can win the turnover game. That's my plan and I'm sticking to it. the FM penalties would not necessarily have changed the outcome. The PI non-call necessarily changed the game. If called the Saint's have 1st and goal and run the clock down before either a TD or FG to win it.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Turns out the single biggest call in the game went for the Rams-and it was a blown call to boot. I guess the fix was not in-unless of course your a Saint's fan. Rams played good when it counted in the most hostile environment possible. That crowd almost carried the game for the Saints. Anyone know the genuine story on Gurley ?
