I know nothing about Europe. Sierra at Tahoe is my comfort zone. More friendly than the bigger ones in the valley. My grandson trains there and my son instructs on the weekend. So we know folks there. I don't care for Heavenly because you tend to get the obnoxious gambling crowd there. Squaw is great if you are an xpert as they have plenty of black diamonds and chutes. If people "don't care" about the human trafficking element there really is no hope. For most of these young girls-some if not all are minors-they don't "volunteer" for this. Most of these girls end with shortened lives due to overdoses or diseases or violence. If I had a daughter involved I would be both heartbroken and outraged. We SHOULD care !by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
The trafficking aspect would relate to a criminal "business" . Yes, he would be contributing to that if in fact he was soliciting sex with a prostitute and or someone a victim of the "trafficking". However, he is a multi billionaire -someone that likely would not be in the trafficking "business" which exists for the sole purpose of making a lot of money. 90% hip replacements are a result of arthritis in the joints making daily life chores miserable. The surgery is relatively simple compared to knee replacements. Knee replacements deal with many, many articulating joints and require screws and wires, etc. The recovery period is far more extensive. Today one goes in for a hip replacement early in the morning and is out ambulating in the afternoon oby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
To be honest I'm anxious about returning to skiing. I've got a lot of metal in my hips having two hip replacements-one for each side. Even though the orthopedic surgeon said its OK just stick to the lesser steep runs I'm really frightened about a hip popping out on a slope. Then I'm in a world of trouble and hurt. There are not screws and pins in a hip replacement-unlike a knee replacement. It'sby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
is very popular with the younger crowd. In fact some mountains have separate runs for "boarders". I think the popularity began because it resembles skateboarding and surfing. I'm also told it is easier to manage but I don't know since I've never been on one of those things. Good for you. As far as the Q re skis -for the most part it depends. If you want to ski the more difficult terrains the skis are not that much different although they have wider tips and tails and the camber is different than what you might be used to. Of course I do. It was a lot easier in those days. Players or athletes in general were far more accommodating. We even had Thorpe and some of his friends over for a Sunday BBQ one weekend. My son and daughter thought the world of them.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
The Sierra ski resorts are looking at more snow than what they've had in many years. The problem is that for many they have been unable to open on important weekends because of too much snow. Lift machines covered, hurricane force winds, avalanche controls in effect, etc.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
Sorry-your post sounded-to me- like you didn't know who he was. Sorry-again. As far as Mannion goes he may have the strongest arm on the planet but other than the first preseason game of the first time back in L.A. he hasn't really shown anything.
