Everybody knows that it's actually all McVay out there calling the plays at the line and making the reads and throwing the quick, accurate passes.by ArizonaRamFan - Game Time Forum

"Can we fire a OC after 2nd game?" over on the GT thread at .netby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
That SEA O-line is trash. The D-line is creating pressure but also leaving many holes that Gurley's going to exploit for at least one 40+ yard run. That secondary looks RIPE for a career day for Goff and Brandin. I don't want to drink the overconfidence Koolaid, but I really like my team this year. A lot. I want to see what vulnerabilities our O but especially our D will exploit.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com

Fantastic athlete, but when he's not having his 1-2 blowout games per year (none last year), he's nearly useless.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
How was Goff able to hear McVay calling every audible over all that noise? :rolleyesby ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Not too many folks get another shot like this after already crashing and burning and being out of the league a year. Probably kept it pretty sharp, always liked the kid.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
We have a lot of SoCal transplants here in Phoenix, and I've probably run into more Rams fans in the last year than the previous 10 combined. They're almost all younger folks too, so maybe they've picked up the allegiance of parents or friends back home. Very rarely meet a Chargers fan. And not a single one since their move, and it's never been mentioned to me.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
There was no "featured receiver" last year for the Rams, though I guess Kupp could be closest. The Rams' propensity toward a varied passing attack would seem unappealing for a man as desirous of attention as OBJ.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
I like seeing this report, too, because it takes a possibly problematic trade off the table.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
The WR corp (plus Gurley) was pretty sharp last year if not spectacular. No reason to upset that cart too much, with these young guys showing a lot of promise. IMO the days of the "#1 WR" might not be entirely past, but they're waning. The Rams were all about the QB spreading the ball around and creative attacks featuring RBs and TEs.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com

McVay is a once-in-a-generation find. I had forgotten this game somewhat, and actually seeing the product that "defensive genius" Fisher was putting on the field for YEARS... gross.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
We'll almost certainly NEVER see the like again in our lifetimes. It's like witnessing Halley's Comet... sorta...by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
Free Agency isn't everything, but it IS something. A "tool in the box", and when opportunities present themselves, FA can fill holes with quality players (if rarely excellent players) without quite the crapshoot that is the draft. If anything is overhyped in team-building, it's the DRAFT imo, followed by Trades, but not FA.by ArizonaRamFan - RamsFootballFans.com
