ouch!!! Oh Capitalism...you naughty beast!!! Talk about haves and have-nots!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
THAT would be very cool to see!! ;) Obo is like Kupp was last year. imo.....Somethin made ObO drop in the draft....just like Kupp. Rams picked him up in the 5th and will use him well.imo ObO didn't have a DL like LA's while he was at OK....and I think he'll make plays for us by mid-season if not earlier. It sounds as if ObO will be competing with Ebukam for Quinn's old spot...so it'll beby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
he has such crazy balance and never goes down...when he should!! He spins, stumbles gets his legs crossed...nearly goes down and throws out hand to keep his balance...and keep goin. Amazing heart from such a small RB. Tough, tough s.o.b. of a runner! I just worry about a wrist or ACL injury...I honestly do not see how he doesn't injure himself!!! I sure hope he stays healthy...he's fun tby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
good stuff. ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Having them come in & have time to get taught the basics of hows, whys, wheres....etc. I don't know how MUCH that helped them...just seems like orientation day at college....to help get the basics down. We'll see how it goes. Their rookies did pretty good last year...many played and a few started so I guess McVay gets the benefit of the doubt here. Wait, did they do that last year????by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and it's great to have those guys respected for how they position the defense or offense with ideal field position. And so glad the Rams draft with an eye to STs and use it as a sorta "proving ground" for players wanting to start on O or D.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
you kept mentioning the lack of depth on OL for the last few months...and I wasn't paying much attention... until I DID!!!! And it was a scary situation and I think the Rams realized that also and struck with OL picks early. I actually liked the 3 OL players we drafted and hope they will provide good depth this year and learn from Whit & Sully... then we can get more next year...but it'by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Look at how many really good players dropped to the 3rd day....and were taken with the first 10 picks of the 4th??? These extra 3rds give us the jump on the Day 3 leftovers...and there are ALWAYS guys that drop thru the cracks for some reason or another. And so, we will have 3 3rd rounders next year...that's very decent draft capital in a very crucial round. imo There is still LOTS of talentby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
or do they win with strength & technique??? OR all the Above? just curious..by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
or Big12?...whatever it's called, man...... I'm just tryin to cope! lol I dunno, but Alyo raved to me about him for months leading up to the draft. Alyo likes nasty, smart overachieving OCs that don't back down!!!! ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
...that's how I see it also....cept the NT... cuz I have no clue bout such prospects...unlike you mock draft GM studs!!! I love that Defense tho and think it will be that way near the end of the season with Barron sharing reps or being spelled by Scales.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
then, Obo & Kiser, Kelly, Denby, Noteboom, Allen.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and I see both making the team...Scales is on active roster prolly as back-up to barron and STs demon....until we trade or release Barron next year. Howard is stashable on the PS if they want to develop him. Scales was a crazy steal of an UDFA...my goodness!! imoby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Both Scales & Howard look like Barron pushers! If any/either could hit and replace Barron as the run&cover&chase LB............that's 8m off our cap in a year or two. we'll see how it goes.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
based on where we were picking and the strength of our roster now. imo Many of these picks are developmental & depth picks for when guys get injured. imo However, there are some interesting ramifications for the future. imo ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- OL_ Sully = Allen Brown/Saffold = Demby Whit/Hav = Noteboom RB_ MBrown = Kellby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
He's like a Barron type that flies to the ball and is a tad undersized but takes on blockers with aggression!! I think he'll allow us to let Barron go and save money next year...he needs a year of NFL diets & workouts...but the dude is aggressive and fast!!! We got him for free?! No spent draft pick on him!! Amazing!! It makes up for some of those DL we picked earlier than I wanted...by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
I wonder if that's more than usual or what the avg for any team's draft. If it IS out of the ordinary....that's appears quite telling about McVay & Wade's preferences.... or if it's just happenstance.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Snead has done okay with the UDFAs...but this draft is a bit underwhelming.....ONLY, cuz I woulda picked the guys I WANTED to pick!!! But the coaches know what they want & need... so I defer until our team starts to SUCK again...them I will complain.... endlessly about the horrible drafting!!! LOLby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
Whit = 13m Sully = 7m?? IF...they can get these kids playing decently in a year they might be able to cut Sully loose early and save some cap space. I think we keep Whit all 3yrs if he can do it.... I dunno. The Rams clearly see OL as more important for them than EDGE or LB so far. imo And, if you think about it, if any of our starting OL goes down with injury...do we even know the namesby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and why they should be incorporated into the team's draft grade. imo btw - judging by this criteria...the Rams are KILLING the draft!!!!!! A+ so far.....easily, as these guys are all KNOWN commodities...and ProBowl players. iirc ...cept Cooks, I think....but his 4 season stats are near elite, 2nd only to ABrown. iircby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
and had it just like you...OO in the 3rd....and Noteboom in the 4th. I don't care where/when we get guys...just that we GET guys...good prospects with the hopes of depth early on and developing into starters. I wonder if we use all our 6s to augment our two late 4th rounders to jump up to mid 4th...and get some more LBs/OL?!... or simply stay put and use the 6s for more cheap labor. ...by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
knew you'd get that reference, zn...(classic photo btw) one of my fav movies ever... ...along with Lawrence of Arabia!!! ;)by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
there seems to be a mean run on EDGE guys due to their value.by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! What an incredible resource for this draft!!!! Thanks for the hard work....and lotsa PICTURES for the posters like me who are "text-challenged"!! ;) Fantastic work, FLARam!!!!by SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
to go with the big signings that will have a huge impact on our cap the next few years...we need depth players with upside. I predict we keep most our picks maybe trade 2 of the 6s to do some modest trade-ups in the 4th...but I see us staying put and getting many bodies that will fill out our team. We tend to do pretty well late in the draft and with UDFAs. imo we'll see...cuz the draft sby SunTzu_vs_Camus - RamsFootballFans.com
