It's not that he is bad, he's just not that good....always seems to be late with his help or miss plays the ball like he did yesterday on the long ball to Watson He is starting to show his 7th round pedigree ....would like to see some others get a shot back there and really wish they would let THT get more playing time to see what we have in him. He was a stand out in training camp.by Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteOld Goat Well, yes we do have the best owner in sports. Won't argue with you. And yes, we're all fatigued over this and debating questionable moves, in our eyes. We used to have a saying around here "In McVay I trust". Trust is earned, and Sean earned a lot of that from us. But it's a castle you never stop having to build upon. He needs to also realize that. I think McVay isby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
We lost our best weapon to start the year fro the first 4 games, yet they played pretty well...went 2-2 in that span, would have been 3-1 if we didnt lose our LT in Cinci... Then, the OL injuries started to pile up, then the RB, then the QB....and here we are.:banghead Can't blame us for being optimistic, cuz without all the injuries to key positions....we'd probably be very much in the plaby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteOld Goat Just ignore bad drafting, poor contract management, and an unevolving offensive play script. Nope. Boil it all down to paying for the SB win. I'm very happy with our SB win. But pinning this current team entirely on that is just lazy, IMO. There is a lot more bringing the Rams into their current state of decline. I think it was just a sarcastic way of saying we have the best oby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
Travis has said it all year and he is correct "don't listen to what they say, watch what they do" when it comes to their true mission of 2023 Hear what they say about the back up QB situation and the people who want to fire McVay....:stooges. They nailed itby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield is Mr. Kroncke's orders to get to and win the SB as soon as SoFi is ready. Now were just paying the price. Thank you Mr Kroenke!!!:beercan I will gladly take a couple years of a rebuild every now and then for the kinda run we had to enjoy from 2017 -2021by Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDaJudge Personally, I think after losing to the Steelers there was a decision to move forward with an eye on improved draft position. I honestly think prior to that, there was some hope they could scratch their way to being somewhat competitive and earn a playoff spot. That's just my nickle. yeah, that was the game that turned the tide imo....had they won that game, they probably wouby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
about their intentions for 2023...... in fact, I think they already tipped their hand due to the fact they didn't sign one as soon as Stetson left the building. We win that game yesterday with a Colt McCoy type back up imo.....but it looks like winning and making a playoff run in 2023 wasn't in their plans. :banghead all we can hope for now is we are close enough in the draft to lby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteroman18 went in line with choosing a guy like Rypien. Keep in mind that the plan was Stetson #2 and having Rypien on the practice squad. That's stupid right off because I always considered the practice squad to made up of players with talent, on the cusp of showing out, just needing some pro seasoning until they ripen for the roster. Rypien was never going to ripen or grow for that mattby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator I agree with what you said. I think we see a GOOD infusion of talent next year. THAT will not be an issue. But I think McVay, Coaching wise, needs to expand things with an emphasis on punch mouth physicality. I thought we actually showed that SOME vs the Niners but got away from it. I want to see McVay use most of our Cap and Drafts and start at the LOS. Without that, does it reallyby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator Bad Coach? No. Just stale, IMO. With a LOT of strange calls lately. McVay is now a middle of the road Coach. It shows on the field. How can you discount the current roster and injuries as a huge part of that equation? Amazes me how people discount the importance of the players….ask Bill Belichick if he misses Tom Brady Like I said, he makes his share of mistakes and is farby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteroman18 To say well if this guy plays that's great, we may make the playoffs and maybe even better yet if he gets hurt we , can get a high draft pick.....IMO Sean and Co. simply had the idea that he was going to play because he's so tough...he says it all the time, "He's the toughest guy I ever met".....Fact is they did a very POOR job in securing this team as having a capable backby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRidgewood Ram You're optimistic idealism is extremely unrealistic and a bit naive. ok...your naivve assumptions that Mcvay has lost the team or is all of the sudden a washed up at ridiculous.... you are the only one on here wanting to fire McVay, that should tell you somethingby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills that the Rams were a Stafford injury away from a complete collapse and now here we are… someone posted the Rams remaining schedule and I’m telling you they might not win another game Giants and Cards both road games are gonna be tough to win WITH STAFFORD if he’s able to go at this point I hope they don't win another game....we need to draft one of the best QB's in thisby Rampage2K- - RamsFootballFans.com

didn't you predict 4 wins this year with this roster? What did you expect? did you really think we were gonna win today with a 3rd string QB? do you really think they want to win meaninless games in 2023? QuoteThe_Zone I am not going to blame play calling, but the blame is on McVay, he is the one who decided Rypien was good enough to be the backup. Between Stetson and Rypien neither is a good option. I dont fault anyone for giving Brett a shot. But we saw preseason game 1 he was horrible. Instead of taking a look at others we stuck with Rypien. anybody see what that kid did today??? I hate to admit it, but Stafford is done... he's taken way too many hits over the years and it is clear we will always need a top notch back up if we continue to roll with him....and that still won't be enough....
