I wouldn't be surprised if Weddle becomes a future Ram coach. They have already stated that they expect him to be like Big Whit and I will be amazed if Whit is not on the coaching team in 2020.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought Kiser played better than Ebukam during the pre-season. The difference was that Samson didn't have any competition at OLB whereas Barron and Littleton were ahead of Kiser and Wilson and Hager were competing with him. I think Kiser will be fine but I wouldn't be surprised to see the FO getting some additional journeymen in to provide some competition.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
What stands out to me is that McVay, Phillips, Barry, Evero, Pleasant and Andrew Whitworth take Weddle out to the restaurant. That just shows what leader Andrew Whitworth is. I think this bodes well for him having a coaching role at the Rams when he does decide to retire.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
We couldn't afford him, his Cap hit is almost 4 million this year. Would he seriously come to a team where he would be a backup, I doubt it, there are plenty of teams that would take him as a starter.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
With Joyner likely to be gone, who should be target to replace him? I personally don't think Earl Thomas would be a the right move, he is getting old and injury prone. I would prefer either Adrian Amos or Tyrann Mathieu. Both would be expensive but I think we could get either one for less than what we paid Joyner last year. The Bears dont have much Cap Space so I think Amos will be availabby Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I just cant see us paying Keenum. Perez would be a very affordable backup. I don't think we will draft a QB in the early rounds which leaves us with Brandon Allen, assuming that Manion is released. I think Perez has more potential than Allen and any late round draft QBs.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I would love to take Keenum back but could we afford him? I really liked Case and was really routing for him at Denver, not sure they have upgraded with Flacco. I think Keenum will go to another team that need a starter, even if it is just short term.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope we are one of those teams that are reaching out. I think he would be a very good fit for the Rams. I think he would have enjoyed working under McVay I just hope cutting him doesn't go against us.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Just because McVay is talking to him, it doesn't mean that Goff isn't reading the defence himself. McVay might be pointing things out but it doesn't mean Goff hasn't read it himself. McVay seems to be a bit of a talker, it seems to be a nervous energy type of thing, not sure if the talking right up to the 15 second mark is more for McVay's benefit rather than Goff's.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
From watching the AAF Highlights, Luis Perez has looked pretty good over the first two games. Just wandering if he might have been a better option to keep him on the practice squad ahead of Brandon Allen. I am not convinced Allan is going to be any better than Mannion but I could see Perez being a decent QB with a bit of work. I was really impressed with the way he handled himself when he wasby Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I really do not understand this fascination with Anderson. He came in when TG got hurt and did very well for us but can you not remember how good TG was before he got hurt. RB is not a big concern, if Todd is fit he will play. His back up will not be a big impact next year whether it is CJ or Brown or JK or someone new (not Davis). We need to keep the money to strengthen the OL, Edge, LB, Cby Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
WR is about the last position that we have to worry about. We will be loaded once Coop Kupp is back. Reynolds is a very good 4th choice and can still get better.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
We had to waive him to make room for Dante Fowler. Simple as that.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Blythe has been very good all season. He is undersized but that hasn't stopped him playing at a very high level all season. We do need extra depth on the line, and it wouldn't hurt if we added some big guys but lets not discard Blythe on the basis of this game. We need to stand by the team and not forget that we have had an awesome season.by Scottish Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
