The new HC will come in and clean house. That's a given. Nobody from this staff will be left.........and that's a good thing. Fresh look. Fresh evaluations. Fresh ideas. Fresh and new Offense and Defense, Fresh smelling, good looking Football Team.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree with those players, but after that I am realistic. HC's will hire the guys they want on staff, thus I just do not see any of the coaches being retained. This is going to be the right hing to do. Personnel decisions are one thing, coaching staff is another story. Let's get the next HC in here and start turning this team in to a WINNER!!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
I would get behind this 100%. Kyle is the HC.......Dad is upstairs as Head Of Football Operations........This would be a move for the future and not just a quick fix. IMHO, this is the way to go.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
After watching the Rams give another game away late, and giving the 49's their 2nd win of the season. I go to the restroom to throw up. Then, a bright light beams through the window and it hit's me...."Is this gig really a desirable job? Would I want to come here? Why?by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Ken will coach ........Barbie will be our cheerleader. LOL!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Steer clear of Peyton........It is telling me there is something better out there for us and this organization.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
our offense averaged per game this season....3.14. No wonder why we are looking for a new HC.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally agree.........Shanahan's have a lot of ceredbility for me. That's exactly what this team needs. I really think Kyle will get the Rams players excited. It will be the shot in the arm this team needs for energy. Plus, Kyle is not a "RE-TREAD" coach. He has his father's drive and intensity (which I love), but he is his own type of coach. He has his own ideas and it is workingby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Just a gut feeling I have about the guy as HC.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally agree.............Goff will be a solid QB.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That is my next HC!!!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
IMHO...........This would be a great way to go for the Rams. Kyle has been around the NFL his entire life. The Rams players all know the name Shanahan. Kyle will bring discipline and accountability to a team that desperately needs it. He's also young, so he will bring enthusiasm and an energy with him. To me, Kyle is not so much a risk because he's showing that when given a chance, he can runby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Both will bring instant credibility to the Rams Coaching ranks. I still think there is a big possibility the David Shaw is up there in the top 3. 1. Gruden 2. Either Harbaugh John or Jim. 3. David Shaw. When you go and look over David Shaw's resume', you really get a much better feel for the guy. IMHO, he would be a very good hire. My dark horse hire is the Shanahan's.......Solid,by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Right now, since Gruden seems to be set in his job........John Harbaugh is my guy. If he can get Goff to do what Flacco has done in his career, I would be a very happy camper.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
There..............I fixed the typo for all you "spelling bee champions" out there....:):) Anyways, I still would take this scenario over any other, including Gruden. But, I have a feeling that Peterson or Shaw are up there, and I like both.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Just one playoff run, please!!!!!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
He won't take the job unless he feels it's the absolute perfect place to be HC in the NFL. It has to be the "Perfect Storm" for Gruden to accept it. That's why I have no worries if he accepts it.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
When coaches go in for an interview, you do not think they are asked "Who will be your OC and DC?" Sorry, but I am sure that if Gruden says "I will listen to the Rams for the HC position." Then, he will come in with a list of coaches that he has already talked to and said, Sure, if you get the L.A. Job, I will be on the staff." You can be sure that Rams officials wouby oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
His ties in the NFL will get him a top tier staff.........On the field, he's the opposite of Fisher. His energy and enthusiasm will be contagious throughout the entire team and organization.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
To me, Gruden's ability to go get NFL caliber Asst.Coaches is his biggest asset. He will surround himself with a very, very good staff and that is why I am hoping he is the pick when it's all said and done. Gruden himself will be the teams personality. The guy is all energy and enthusiasm on the field because he simply "LOVES THE GAME." He will be a great fit for Goff and our QB's.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
If you are looking for a solid, traditional type of hire for a HC. You want a change in the personnel decisions at GM. Harbaugh/DeCosta makes the most sense.....The Ravens are a solid and consistent franchise.......Solid choices and decisions are exactly what the Rams need.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff and Mannion........... If Mannion gets the start this week, I really hope he lights it up and shows that he can get the job done. That would be the best thing that could happen vs. the 49's. Then, we would have 2 young guns in camp and they can challenge each other all off season.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
He would bring instant credibility to this franchise. Teams are always in the playoff hunt. Also, brought Eli Manning along and made him into a SuperBowl Winning QB.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
OK....Just don't want Peyton as our coach.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
That's where I hope the Rams are heading.........Stable ,proven NFL coaches that will bring discipline and challenge the players!!!! Plus, Goff will have coaching to become an elite QB with Gruden/Martz. If we go this route, I am feeling really good.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
and we do not have very many of those at all.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Washington is killing it this year.........We get our offense going like that and the Rams win the NFC West next season, and Playoff Bound!by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Hmmmmmmmmm.....I hope it's not McDaniels. Trying to recreate the Patriots will be a HUGE mistake IMHO. Give me..... 1. Gruden 2.Petersen 3.Shaw 4. John Harbaugh Yes, in that order.by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Can a move to Guard save his career? Thoughts?by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
Why would they allow him to help in the search for a new HC if they were not going to retain him as GM?by oldschoolramfan - RamsFootballFans.com
