Well I stayed with them through the 90s and the post-Martz era, so I probably would have stayed with them then, too. But the playoff pain was real in the 70s. Especially growing up around Cowboys fans.by Great Bordeni - RamsFootballFans.com

Steelers by three touchdowns at least. And I would have seriously thought about quitting the Rams. After the home loss to Bob Lee and the Vikings in 77, then a 28-0 loss to the Cowboys in 78, losing a second time to Tampa Bay that season would have sent me over the edge.by Great Bordeni - RamsFootballFans.com

What were they? Mine were... 1. Beating Dallas on MNF in 1980 38-14. Being up 38-0 and hearing Frank Gifford say "if you're just tuning in, this really is happening to the Dallas Cowboys" was an awesome feeling. Of course, two weeks later we lost at Dallas in the playoffs, but for one night this was the best feeling ever. 2. I....hated....Roger.....Staubach. With every fiber of my being. Really not fair that we had to beat them (and the Vikings) with Pat Haden. What happened to our victory over Dallas in the third place game? The NFL just decided one year that those games no longer counted in the records. I won an office NFL picks pool with this name. My last name is Borden, and the Professor and the Swami were already taken, so I became the Great Bordeni. Hey everyone Been lurking for over a year now because I couldn't get a name/password combo to work. An admin set me up yesterday so here I am.
