The first Super bowl loss to Pats ranks right up there.... You come into the big game double digit favorites and take the loss...pretty hard to swallow for me Now the Viking Cowboy playoff losses hurt me worse because I was a kid and didn't know how to process the losing ...being labeled as chokers etc ... It's kind of a weird draft and time to be a Ram Fan right? I mean it seems safe to call us a perennial playoff team or at very least a perennial playoff contender. So the rub is for me the fan seems like a lot of glaring holes to fill. Not a huge fan of this signing.... in fact seems like the kind of signings we made when we sucked. Splash name well past prime. But I will say if the man can still run he could serve that purpose that others have mentioned in this thread....and that's no small thing keeping a defense honest could really open things up. Man just watched some of that on YouTube not start to finish just bits and pieces...but a very cool trip down memory lane. I guess because I'm getting older now and was a kid then....I just dig that era so much more. Mack is from my hometown Santa Barbara Ca Went to San Marcos HS was great football player I also believe state champ wrestler. I have a good feeling about Stafford. McVay I believe is very smart and is well aware all eyes are on him now and I think his drive and want to win is undeniable.....I have a feeling this reboot is going to be a positive in the long run. Yeah we have some cap issues...like a lot of other teams. I always see hand wringing "How we going to be able to sign draft picks and current roster etc" I've never once seen a team not be able....the number crunchers will work it out. However I think we will have to make peace with not being able to re-up the Floyd's and Johnson type players which is a bummer. This was pretty muby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com

So if I understand correctly he is under contract for two years...the Rams wanted to extend to make it more Cap friendly deal to which he declined. So the dilemma becomes if Stafford performs to a standard we all hope for in the next 2 seasons We are going to be at the crossroads or decision of ponying up for a high dollar now 35 yr old QB or start over.....it will be interesting to see hoby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com

Well I actually think we completely agree on the actual outcome. I think the way they have gone about it thus far is kind of garbage. These 2nd rd QBs people are talking about are far from guaranteed plug and play guys and even less likely play and win guys. Our fan base has really raised the bar when a QB that is producing double digit win seasons Isn't good enough I sure hope we hit a HR with his replacementby Headslap75 - RamsFootballFans.com
