youre original post indicated that the oline was "fine" suggested that nothing needed to be improved. i disagree with this position as i dont believe it is fine as is. then you said it needed to be "solid" next year suggesting a few additions were required. in response I simply elevated that need by suggesting that ADDING to the oline should imo be the #1 priority. in fact iby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
clearly gives you a pool to work with however some are more promising then others imo. as a result i see no reason not to add to the pool to increase the odds of success. it would be my #1 priority and I think it will also be sneads. Quotezn QuotePHDram i would think that mcvay would strive for the oline to be better than fine. It has to be at least solid. But I assume that having a pooby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com

You need to buy into the philosophy of your head coach.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
well I know for sure that after qbs teams value pass rushers and they tend to go higher in the draft. in contrast, interior lineman tend to slip. That being said, without an empirical assessment, you may be right in that there is good value for pass rushers in the middle rounds. im sure there are examples, but at the moment i cant think of any.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
as good as littleton was last year, he wasnt GREAT at stopping the run which imo was their Achilles heel on d. i just dont see them keeping littleton. in fact i think a more likley scenario is for them to go after one of the bears lbs at a cheaper price to help install the d.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
not to us as fans no. but neither did SJD prior to this season. in fact i dont think he played a down in a game prior to this year. with that in mind, the coaching staff seems high (or did) on gaines. i wouldn't be surprised to see him in a starting role this year. that being said, a veteran presence in case he falters wouldnt be a bad backup plan.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
if you do as you say, how do you fill the olb spot? any pass rush that you really want is going to cost a good chunk of cash. you could draft one, but i think history would show you have a better chance of getting a pro bowl guard in the 2nd round than a pro bowl pass rusher. with that in mind i would sign fowler (assuming i can get him for about 14 per) and then draft a guard in the second.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
well correct me if im wrong but brockers doesnt generally play next to AD so im not sure you are looking at the right position. last year at least its my understanding that SJD filled the NT for the most part. that being said if your looking for a NT type these guys would probably work. but im not sure thats would i would do. personally id move SJD out to brockers sot at DE. I would find that claim hard to believe. First if the Oregon "jersey gimmick" didnt generate revenue directly or indirectly for both Nike and Oregon they simply wouldn't do it. They are both in business to make money afterall. That being said according to Forbes Oregon currently ranks 14th in total revenue. Clearly that's not all apparel sales but the "jersey gimmick" doesntby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com

i dont see how you could pay slay and ramsey long term but could they trade slay for hill or nrc straight up? for what its worth, all of them are in the last year of their contract.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I hate to tell you this but your boys are likely in the minority. Nothing wrong with it. It's just not how most kids are (and that was true when we were kids as well too). Most kids want the cool new thing. That being said as you indicated new is not always cool. In order for consumers to want "it" it need to be perceived as cool. Further, like you, I was definitely one of those kidsby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com

but thats just it. it is broken. there has not been a team in la for 20 years. the connection needs to be re-established. so while YOU and your contemporaries resonate with the uniforms. kids dont. kids want the oregon duck, and the maryland terrapin unis. i get that you dont, but thats what resonates with a younger population. and thats how you re-establish a youthful la ram fan base. yourby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
with every jersey sale? i loved those uniforms as a kid too but that was 30-40 years ago. lets move on. do you really think kids want to buy a 30 year old look? i agree with you overall point about a fresh new look with influences of tradition. however as i noted above in another post the notion that you can know the pulse of "youngsters" based on anecdotal observations from a single trip to a game is extremely flawed. ill give you just 1 example. who bought the gear? the kid or the parent? moreover, the buyers bought was available. if givby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
oldschool crazylegs hacksaw jimyoungblood no offense to everyone (and im including myself in this group)...but this is not a demographic they care much about and hence not given much weight in any poll or focus group.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
as I assumed and albany confirmed, the rams conducted several rounds of surveys and focus groups which imo is pretty typical of branding scenarios. im not sure why you would think that KD just looking at twitter to make such a significant decision. you can say what you want about KD but he strikes me as a sharp guy who has been around the business side of football his whole life via his father.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
fairy. fantasy. whatever you want. the point is that it doesnt exist. well again. KD and his team did all the polling. he explicitly said that those who prefer the "ferragamos" as you call them are a subset of the full population of rams fans. and such a statement makes perfect sense as they likely appeal mostly to individuals who grew up in the 70s-80s. im not sure i would use tby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
thats the stuff of fairy land. a majority is probably even pushing it. you can however get a plurality. though i suspect that more emphasis was put on the preferences of younger fans. that being said, why would you find that "appalling"? it makes perfect sense for the rams. old timers (which dont agree either btw depending on when you were born) arnet going to switch teams becauby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
KD told you explicitly what they did and what the numbers say. the uniforms that you and others are pining for appeal to a specific demographic. thats it. period. the uniforms may be "like" those but it wont be those.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
KD has consistently said the same thing about the uniforms for the last 2 years. they were NEVER going with the "old" blue and yellow or blue and white. as KD said about that look, "to be honest, that’s mainly surveying the current subset of fans that have memories of those teams and that era". while you and a bunch of others on this board want a "classic" look. yby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
