first off, I am now super confident in our chances of getting the #2 seed and a bye week as I read that the niners had the easiest schedule of the three 4-11 teams and therefore get the #2 pick in the draft. they would be foolish to win this game. The Cardinals have the #1 pick next year. Did they let us win?by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
they can sweep the West.... by thay I mean AFC and NFC west.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Tavon is quick, not fast. His legs are too small too be fast. He is never open on deep routes.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Shoot. When I saw this, I thought we were signing Jo-Lonn Dunbar, the LB. We seemed to play better D when he was on the field. (Think he got into some trouble with the law?)by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
...crickets? Ok, here's my case. He admits being on the sauce for 2016, and I think we really need a "plan B". If 8 games in we find Goff is not the guy, we don't just need Clemons, or Keenum, we need a potential Plan B. I guess it would come down to, name me a better plan B that is an up and comer, vs. a has been or career back-up? I would agree "Mannion" qualifiby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Honestly I feel bad for Charger fans. I was surprised to find that nobody in LA wants them here. As much as the Rams are terrible, for some reason, whether it be the history or the fact that they came first, or both... everybody is on board with the Rams and most are saying "they'll be good by the time the stadium is built". And at the same time they are like "why are the chby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree with keying in on the statement that the play calling get's guys open. It's called a scheme and we haven't had an offensive one in years. Sounds like this guy is a young Mike Martz, and hopefully with Wade Phillips he can mostly focus on the offensive production. Defnitely think that Fired Coaches support group could be the difference in him being ready at a young age. I would makeby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, a little bit of Gruden in there. If we were looking for an offensive coordinator, i would be 100% on board. We'll see. Rumors have it this may be our guy.... (Short dude, eh?)by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
To me, means they have no clue what they are doing. They have had nobody they have been watching and interested in should this come up. And clearly they weren't planning on cutting Fisher given that they signed him to a multi year deal at the beginning of the season. And I don't buy the part about "wouldn't have been fair to hang him out there without a contract and expect him to dby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
I like the thought of Shanahan stating he would also bring in his dad at whatever capacity. Because the problem with OC's is they have never been a head coach. But if he brings in his dad to assist, would take away that concern. Plus, I think we need to focus on offense for the first time in 8 years. I think McDaniels has a bit of the Mike Martz issue... it's easy to come up with greaby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
They are only interviewing him out of professional courtesy. Possibly a spot for him to remain as ST coach to keep at least some continuity.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Of this embarrasment? This team doesn't belong in the NFL. This team is not going anywhere next year, or the year after that. Maybe in about 5-6 years, after Goff, Tavon, and Gurley are gone and there is a new nucleus.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
We have seen just a small sliver of potential from this kid, but mostly wabbly balls and ducking for cover. Would like to see him step up and make a few throws today to give us fans something more than just "well if he had the right tools around him and a better offensive line"... blah, blah, blah. Show me something kid.by kw13 - Game Time Forum
Tavin is a joke. Part of the entire joke that is the LA Rams offense. Please get a coach and GM that can restore pride and dignity to this organization that for some reason I follow every year.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Keyshawn or one of those guys brought up the suggestion that the Rams should have went with Mannion from day 1 this year. I believe he was the best QB in preseason. He may be the best QB on this team. I hope he gets the chance to play this week. At least so the next coach knows what all he's got.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Was very disappointed in this kid during pre-season. Drops, fumbles on kick-offs. He was terrible. So, if course, they kept him.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Can't even respond to his petty-ness. Ba bye.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Not much has been talked about Gregg Williams, but I believe he is overrated. He is aggressive and that is a great strategy in general (offenses should be as well). However aggressive just for the sake of being aggresive causes the Rams D to overrun a lot of plays and get burned on misdirection. Plus, this hybrid linebacker thing is a failure. Worked for a bit, but ultimately is a disasteby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
It was the 87th time since 1998 that I turned off the game before the 4th quarter. And the 119th time going back to 1990. I think someone mentioned 4 winning seasons in 27 years???? And those 4 were in a row, in the middle. And I thought the 90's were bad. Here's to hoping the 2020's don't sill have the Patriots winning every year... Oh yeah, and the Rams making the playoffs a couplby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
To gut the entire team before the new stadium opens. Fire the entire coaching staff and start over. Free agency dollars are going up so just rebuild through that channel. New O'line. New receivers. New coaches. Get a real Middle Linebacker and move Tree back to the outside. Try to get a 2nd round pick for Gurly. Dump Tavon for whatever savings it brings.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
A team that had 3 or 4 wins in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Probably in worse shape than the Rams were 4 years ago. Thanks Fisher.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Honestly, I don't think moving the team is that big of a deal. It happened during the offseason. The team stayed intact. Demoff added "and then they had to do OTA's in Oxnard and training camp in Irvine"....ummm, ok last year they did OTA's in California and training camp in STL?? I mean, it accounts for something, but is no excuse for anything.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
It's Definitely Patriots 2 digits starting with a 3 or a 4, and Rams single digits. Out only reason to watch is A) Progression of Jared Goff, and B) the chance our defense takes out Tom Brady. I'm sure Gregg has a bounty on him.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Only way I will accept this is if a big time OC is hired. He seriously hired his Tight Ends coach to run "his" offense, and then brought in Groh to help Boras learn how the passing game works. Meanwhile, in other news, worst offense in the NFL again, and again. Fisher's job is like being a governement worker. No threat of losing your job, no pressure, outdated system, no reasoby kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally. We have been the Jets for years. Built to beat our division rival, but nobody else. Great defense, bad offense.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
And no winning records. Not a good thing.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
So the takeaway is... the less Keenum throws the ball, the better we do. No brainer. Think how good we would do if he was on the sidelines throwing 0 times per game!by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
Definitely inept coaching. There is no modern era for Fisher. He is in over his head in today's NFL.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
...and NFL offenses move the ball and score points. QB's make big throws have big arms. Not even talking about Brady, and Breez, but even Marcus Mariota, and Ryan Tannehill, etc.. Rams are just pathetic. A joke. Goff is their only hope, and I don't think anyone is confident thay he will be that guy.by kw13 - RamsFootballFans.com
