Robinson took The Rams from being the 3rd worst team in the NFL in 1982 and took them to a wild card game in 1983 The Rams were a winning team under Robinson from 1983 to 1989 going to 2 NFC Championship games. The early 1990's teams under Robinson stunk, so I guess he lost "the touch".

I think the Rams need a 225 -230 lb. RB to replace Malcomb Brown for short yardage and FB blocking situations. Unless McVay has someone on the roster already to fill that roll who plays another position.
