QuoteLesBaker And was mostly just pretty good the rest of the time with a couple of excellent seasons Meh I totally disagree. Elway elevated his offense. His stats would've been so much better had his receivers caught the football with more frequency. I saw all of his games in '84-'85 and he threw so many perfect strikes that ricocheted off of his receivers chests/hands. Sammy Winder was thby six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
I wish him the best, but I'm glad he's no longer on the team. The Rams need players that have football IQ and he does not fit into that category.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotebigjimram21 Okay. Here's a story for you. Guy is married, with a three year old son. His estranged, drug addict wife comes over to the house they were living in until she left to go on a drug binge. He tells her that it's over, he's going to file for a divorce. She of course, off her freaking rocker, flips out and starts screaming, and raising general he.... He tells her to leaveby six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
I see a guy that's been in the league 4 years and has been "very average". He's 6 ft 201lbs runs a 4.5 forty, again, average. My expectations are for him to be slightly better than Preston Dennard. I think the Rams overpaid here. The Rams still need a dependable burner on the outside.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteFlorida_Ram I've heard the various excuses/reasons of why Pryor didn't get the long term deal that many of us expected, but for him to only get enough attention to settle for a one year 8 MIL (bet on himself deal) is a bit of a shocker for me. I expected the Browns to resign him for at least something close to 4 years 40 million or another team desperate for a WR to maybe offer a little bby six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSaban23 He's gonna be good. Good signing by Washington! Agreed! I wish the Rams would've signed him, but oh well.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow, I'm ecstatic! :confused I watched him in Chiefs TC and I thought he was very inaccurate and just didn't belong. He was great in college, but this is the NFL. Maybe this new Coaching staff can do something with him, but I'm not holding my breath.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
As Grits said, he's definitely worth a look just for the simple reason he's faster than any Rams WR. The Rams need to consider ANY available veteran WR. They're in the bottom 1/3 of the league at this position talent wise. A change of scenery may be the thing this guy needs.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
He's a home run hitter from the outside and the Rams need that at WR. He had good stats at Baltimore and is only 28 years old. He could be a major contributor for the Rams in 2017.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLesBaker Are you crazy LOL. They had 7 guys in the Pro Bowl. That roster is loaded with talent, what in the world are you talking about? Agreed! They're loaded with talent IMO. They really only need 1 more good WR and better play from Alex Smith when the pressure is on to take them over the top.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
I think McCown would be an upgrade over Keenum albeit just slightly. His arm is stronger than Keenums and he may fit better if the Rams go to a system where deep outs are used more often. Keenum has good touch on deep balls, but lacks zip for the intermediate timing patterns. I think MCown is a perfect fit and would be a good tutor for Goff.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotezn Quotesix2stack Goff was anything but impressive in his showings. That being said, most QB's take time to show whether or not they can play in the NFL. Season 2 with a new regime and a year under his belt will tell if he's the real deal or not. There were plays and moments woven in there where I could see what he is capable of becoming. And that was in really bad circumstances too, sby six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamBum I think we need an Ed Reed type center fielder. We've used two SS types for a while now, but I think we need more of a ball hawk back there. I agree. Even McCleod seemed to have good instincts and a nose for the football. He utilized the most out of his physical skills which were barely average by NFL standards. A true FS with good coverage skills is a must.by six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteSpeed_Kills And because they had Matt Ryan pulling the trigger. NE was geared to stop the run and did on the previous play for the very reason you say the Falcons should have run They went with Ryan and when you have a Ryan you can do what the Falcons did and normally the QB does not take a sack on a play where he could have simply thrown the ball away If the Falcons had Rex Grossmanby six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsFanSinceLA On the Pats 22, less than 4 minutes to go, you gotta run the ball there. Eat the clock and at the very least kick a FG. Should have been game over right there. It's so obvious,:confusedby six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Man, I'm so tired of the constantly changing rules. I hate the ball being placed at the 25 for non-returned KO's. I hate placing the ball at the 15 for PATs. I hate the rules for how to sack a QB. Leave the game alone. The OT rules are fine as they are. At least it is that you can't win by winning the coin toss and then kicking a 60 yard FG. QuoteLMU93 Then two pass attempts from the Patriots 23 (and holding penalty) with less than four minutes left that backed them out of easy FG range. This is how they lost the game, plain and simple. The Falcons should've run the ball 3 straight times, ran time off the clock or forced the Pats to burn their timeouts. They would've kicked a FG, then up by 11 and the Pats literally have onlyby six2stack - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJamesJM I was actually rather pleased that Atlanta played their 'full game' right to the end instead of sitting back on their heels the way Fisher would have done. Didn't work, or course, but even so. :laughing The running game is a big part of their game though. Late inthe 4th when Julio made that great catch, they were in FG range. Quotezn QuoteRockRamYou need good solid D, but it doesn't have to be all world. Scheme is critical as is adaptability. What you DO need is an all-world Offense. . To me that's an overgeneralization. It doesn't account for teams like Seattle and SF making the superbowl in the recent past.
