Side story: Had one of these guys as a hatchling years ago. Things went well for a couple weeks. Then one day, I look in the enclosure, and the little Houdini has disappeared! I scoured the entire house; flipped up furniture looked down drains, vents, etc. Never found her. I always thought one day my cat was going to go missing.....by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Gurley ran a little bit better this game. Still too much running full blast into his own man (phrasing), but there were a few runs where he was more patient and set up his blocks. Ball security needs to be a focus for him, too.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
I saw a team fight back into a game and had a chance to win the game at the end. I can count on half a hand how many times that's happened in the past five or six years, and maybe longer. At least these team has something resembling a passing game. Defense got gashed, and that's what really cost us the game. Goff didn't play great, but the Redskins came ready to play and they're definby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Is it still a requirement for offensive PI that the ball must be catchable? If so, I don't see how that call could've been made. Even in real time it was plainly obvious that there was no way that Redskins dude was getting to that ball. And if it's not.....well that's just bologna. :Pby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Minus the fisherman. Although, I'm a fisherman, and if you ever saw me eat a pizza, you would say I "sucked it in".by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
And THAT IS an improvement from the last five years.....or 12.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Lots of people were saying the same things I'm reading about Gurley. SJ really took off when they brought in Stephen Davis. I think I remember Davis taught Jackson about being patient, and letting the blockers get set up. Before, he would just barrel up to the line. We started seeing that "jump cut" that became his trademark. I'm disappointed in Gurley too, but I'll be patienby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm at a loss for words. He was a part of this place ever since I started posting on here as a young boy. Praying for him and his family. God Bless.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Backup QB, can't take advantage of turnovers, can only score field goals..... Nice to be on the other end for a change.by Drew2839 - Game Time Forum
This is the most excited I've been as a fan in I don't even know. I didn't even think the Rams could count to 40, let alone 46!!! And the point disparity is almost 40 now!!!! That's like early 2000's kinda score. Don't get me wrong; they can and need to get better. But darnit, 46 points?!!?!?!?!?!by Drew2839 - Game Time Forum
Got a good feeling today! 27-14 Rams. Go Nelson and Go Rams!by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Orcas are generally bigger, too. Lot's of youtube videos of orcas killing and eating great whites. There's actually been research that shows that when orcas are in the area, great whites make like a fetus and head out. Awesome videos by the way Steve. You are one lucky sob. Maybe one day......by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
I watched it this morning on YouTube. Kinda went the way I expected, except the early rounds were definitely McGregor; really surprised by the judge's scorecards for the first three rounds. It was like one of the commentators said: a puncher vs. a boxer. McGregor got winded after round 4, and Mayweather just dissected him from there on out. One note: McGregor has to get better in hisby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
AND your extended family......I don't know what to tell you. Well, you could just have a REEEEEEALLLY big family. There's plenty of ways to invest that money, too.....thank you compound interest!! Seriously though, 50 million and I could take care of ALL of my family. Some of it just has to do with being smart managing your money.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Dripping?? Urbandictionary was no help this time; there didn't seem to be a consensus, and definitions didn't seem to apply, as far as I can tell. Hell, I'm not even old and I don't know what it is. :S Context intimates it's related to the chains "dripping", perhaps? Idk.by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
And it feels GOOD! I haven't felt this way in a while, or at least since I figured out Jeff Fisher wasn't going to get this team where it needed to be. The offense hasn't looked this good in a while, most notably the passing. I like that we saw such marked improvement in the fumbleitis that afflicted them in the first game. Let's see if it holds true through the remainder. I think thby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, sounds like these guys mean business vis a vis fixing the offense. Really haven't followed much football or the Rams this offseason, but I'm actually starting to get a little excited to see this offense. Still don't think this team is going to be very good, but it would nice to score some points along the way. Gaines and a 2nd rounder seems a little steep, but Watkins is a legit reby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com

Been a long time since the R's visited Dodger Stadium. Looks like the Dodgers have been playing good ball. I don't really follow the NL, so I'm just basing that on their record. Royals have had an abysmal start to the year, but have played great ball in June and, so far, in July. They're starting to look like the Royals from 2 and 3 years ago. Good luck, but I hope the Boys in Blue sweby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
But it's difficult when all my other teams I follow show they have heart and compete every game. This team??? Eh, maybe some players do, and during some games...but not on a consistent basis. Not to mention the sometimes inept administration and questionable moves over the years. <shrug>by Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm so apathetic about this team right now. I've hardly read any news this offseason. Didn't even watch the draft, and that's a first for me since I became a Rams fan. There's just nothing about this team that gets me excited, even with a new coach. I do like McVay; don't take that as a slight against him. I'm jaded by all the teases and false hope I instilled in myself the previousby Drew2839 - RamsFootballFans.com
None, as far as I know, James. Just regular old boxing rules. Looks like it's back to finding a bar with PPV. With the Mayweather-Pacman fight, I found a bar with zero cover charge for the bout. Yeah that's right, FREE!!!!by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
BUT, it will sell. McGregor is probably the most popular fighter in UFC, and Mayweather has as many fans as detractors (probably more of the latter) who would LOVE to watch his face get caved in. However, I think you're right: it's going to be a flop. Mayweather is too skilled. McGregor is the one the best stand-up fighters in UFC, but it's not the same as pure boxing. I drink A LOT of water, so I pee a lot anyway. When I throw even just one beer into the equation........seal is automatically broken. That's why I love beach vacations; I just drink and go in the water, and no one's the wiser.by Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
Great book. Pulitzer Prize winner, actually. Love the metaphors he uses. Kinda sad, just to forewarn you. The Fix by David Baldacci is one that I just finished. Easy to read, fast paced, and just a great thriller. It is part of a series, but there's enough background in the book that you don't need to read the previous two (although ALL of them are good, so I highly recommend readinby Drew2839 - Bucky's Pub
