Reports are out.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Totally worthless. But the folks enamored with a sports reporter celebrity hang on his every bloviated word.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
It’s been rumored that the Rams are lowballing the guaranteed money. Miller got $70M. Rams offer is less or same. Fair is at least 75. But it’s all rumors as you said. We don’t know. What we do know is that if Miller got $70M than Donald would get significantly more in FA 3 years later. The Rams actually hurt themselves by not signing him last year BEFORE he put DPOY on his resumeby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Remember what happened when Hav went out for a series against the Eagles last year.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuotePHDram well that ranks him 3rd in terms of yearly average for RTs... is he the 3rd best rt? Salarys go up every year, so you have to factor in inflation. Then if you add in what he's making this year and average that into this contract deal then its more in line with his ranking.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Having continuity on the OL is so important. There isn't much time left for Whitworth or Sullivan. And I think Brown will be let go after this year. Saffold has indicated that he may stay on for a team favorable salary. Looking at the OL going into the new stadium in 2020, the only current starters who will make the trip are probably Saffold and Hav.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Its like watching paint dry. Sooo slow in everything he does. Add in his indecisiveness and Mannion is a huge mistake waiting to happen. Under real game conditions he will get destroyed. McVay can say anything he wants to the public, but there is no way he believes Mannion can be a legit backup to a SB contender. If he needs to play Mannion for a few games during the season, it will be very eby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotezn Quotemax I don't think they play in game 4. So that means if they don't play a ton in game 3, you lose your bet. Last summer Goff had 32 attempts and Gurley had some too. (I will count later.) Wait till after game 4 to see how many each does this summer. Either way the real point stands. McVay never said you dont play starters in the preseason. That's a made-up non-issue. Whatby max - RamsFootballFans.com

I expect McVay to play his starters against the Texans. But if he only plays a handful, that tells me he’s phased out of PS as a method to prepare his team. Maybe it’s part of some new analysis that hes done.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
with 32 teams cutting 37 players each, thats 1184 players hitting the waiver wire all at once right after the last PS game. Its gonna be a wild scramble to set our final roster. Maybe the Pats will cut Brady and we can sign him as our backup.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
repeat after me.... DONALD IS GOING NOWHEREby max - RamsFootballFans.com
Did you read my other post on this subject of PS games.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay is trying to evaluate who his #2 QB is. Mannion was so bad last week that McVay needed to see more of Allen to see if Allen could be the backup. Perez is not ready to be the backup QB. Actually, none of them are.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFIP Everything he does is in sloooow motion and his passes wobble like a duck. He is garbage. I don't think McVay is gonna go after another QB unless he is very cheap. This is clearly a case where I hate like heck to be put in a situation where I get to tell the Mannion defenders that they had no idea what they were talking about. HE STINKS ON HOT ICE.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
The game has changed a lot. PS is totally different than it was 20 years ago. One big problem is these players are bigger, stronger, and faster yet they still have the same size ligaments and tendons as players did many years ago. So coaches are scared to play them in PS in order to limit the attrition that will inevitably happen over the course of the year. There is no doubt that the lastby max - RamsFootballFans.com
I hope that situation doesn't present itself. I would hate to be right. But really, this is serious now. We need a real backup QB. Time to stop playing silly games with these scrub QBs.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Having Mannion as our backup isn't good enough to win any games if Goff loses any time. A total waste of a roster spot.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Sean Mannion this preseason is 13 of 29 (44.8%) for 100 yards (3.45 yards per attempt) 0 TDs 1 INT. I don't care who you play with or against, those are totally unacceptable numbers.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Its nothing more than a glorified scrimmage for backups and guys who will be flipping burgers in 2 weeks.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
Cause Mannion is soooooo bad. I have no idea what McVay sees in Mannion.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
But people never think great players and teams will collapse. Just part of human nature. I still believe in the saying, father time is undefeated. Take a 41 year old QB and put him behind a bunch of JAGS as an OL and all bets are off, IMO.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
All of that information was available on Twitter over the past couple of weeks. But I guess it’s nice to hear it from a national guy who writes for SI. Actually, I’m not moved by it.by max - RamsFootballFans.com
