I am not a conspiracy theorist. About as far from that as it gets. But I'm also honest, at least I try hard to be honest and I often wonder.... Do they really want to cure cancer? - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Do you know what type of cancer? Same here... lost many friends and family to cancer. About as many to heart problems. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
For years I've have speculated about vacuum tubes and transportation. IOW... most likely a 'train' traveling in a vacuum tube... how fast could it go? Well today I wondered, "hey, maybe I could google that".... well, I did, (duckduckGo'd it).... and GOT AN ANSWER! Well, a theoretical one. The article I read said that theoretically a train in a vacuum tube could hit speeds of 2,5by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
But then again....like you said..... if it wasn't you it would have been someone else... or nobody else and maybe just a bird chirping or a dog farting.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I can only imagine how well these teams know each other. I often wonder when game planning how the coaches know when to conclude the "Well, I know that he knows than I know that he knows than I know that he knows that I know......". Divisional opponent games are fantastic, and heart pounding. You never know.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Starting as a fan around 1958 it wasn't until 1967 that I saw our Ram's become one of the 'elite'... .and then... it just kept on a'going. I often list the 70's as the 'golden' years but in truth the 80's were nearly as great. My point being... when I first found other fans, the internet, we were in the midst of those horrible 90's. I can remember... Back then making post after post after pby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

it's more McVay. But I think his time has come... he'll be giving full opportunity. Might even get more targets than we'd expect. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Rams Chronicles
I think staying healthy is the Key. When they can do that... which they admittedly struggle with.... seems to me the OL progresses and solidifies nicely during the season. I would expect nothing different this year.... again, as long as they stay healthy. Except for a few truly GREAT RB's I think the spread in RB strength from top to bottom across the NFL is a narrow one. Far more narrowby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
and really really difficult. I lean Detroit or SF. But one thing I'm somewhat sure about.... not all the current favorites will be in the running this year. Someone, plural?), will fall this year. Who?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
On Youtube... or maybe you saw it in person? That tradition seems to me as insane as the running with the bulls. :laughing think I've mentioned this before.... here in my home town we had a tradition. Well, actually it was only me and a few friends. :laughing We used to have races (two man teams) in which we used our horses to pull a guy thru a pasture while he rode an old inner tubeby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
"Remembering them as they were". I'm not put off by it, actually. I admit a tinge of sadness to see 'anyone' suffering the signs of aging but it does nothing to make me forget what they once were/could do.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
My Dad never learned to swim.... yet we had a pool. We begged him to learn to swim - at least enough to where he could get out if he fell in.... he called us idiots. He told us if he ever fell in he'd simply sink to the bottom and walk out. So he never learned to swim. Thank God he never fell in. Or maybe he did and we just never found out about it, he just walked out? :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

were a Lab and a Siberian Husky... so get this. The Husky LOVED water, could not pass a puddle, ditch, canal, pond, lake, without taking a dip. The Lab wouldn't get near the water, unless I tossed him in. :laughing It was a Brown Lab, BTW. Guido, our current dog and an English Springer... adores water. We have an above ground pool in the backyard... Guido now climbs the ladder to swim. hby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
ran with the bulls that is. I didn't know them well but both were from around here where i live and traveled to Spain specifically for that reason. Would I do that? No, get real. I'm an old man. A better question is: Would I have done that in my youth? And there I'd have to say... probably, had I been there there and had the chance. I would not have traveled to Spain for that reason. Saw this I think on "X" today... some fisherman saving a young deer who was swimming in the lake they were fishing in. I was reminded... Just a couple of years ago I was on a lake in my pontoon boat and saw something bobbing up and down in the water some distance away. It was no where near shore. I'd guess... at least a couple hundred yds from the shore. As I approached I saw thaby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
This really brought home just how out of touch I am. I knew nothing about this until today. Knew nothing about it and yet.... this had to be BIG news, like earth shaking - so I KNOW some of you guys were into it and you said nothing??????????????????? Or you did and I missed it? but they had... hmmmmm, I think 8 musicians on stage? Also...you could tell they worked hard on the harmony because they did a great job - sounding a lot like the originals. The sound system wasn't that great last night but hell... that could be my hearing. It's shot. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
The musicians I want to see the most are not the ones who command an NFL Stadium size for the audience. The ones I attend are pretty small venues. Last night the concert was at Table Mountain Casino and the theater was actually a LOT bigger than I expected. BUT... still miniature compared to those you attend. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Only one complaint... but it's a big one. They did not perform "Feels So Right", which is my favorite song by them. I was very surprised as I thought it was one of their top hits. Enough of the complaints... thoroughly enjoyed the concert. VERY personal, lots of audience interaction. GREAT Star Spangled Banner into. My how Randy Owen has aged. whenever we spot one, (family), everything else stops and we watch the eagle. I get very few where I live, extremely rare - but the lake where we go boating,, not far away, is a major nesting area for Bald Eagles. We see dozens of them there, and often.
