I cant speak to his abilities. I dont (for sad but obvious reasons) dont watch college ball. HOWEVER I saw his draft room. His style etc... why ANY team would want that if they have even a SHADOW of a doubt of his skill level? But my question is this: If its bigotry please tell me how many black players went in the top ten picked and in order? Yeah... thank you. Anyone spouting that kindby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I dont know if they reached. Or if they miss-picked. Or if they got too cute and missed a stud we REALLY needed. All things that has happened before but, I kind of feel that after the last few years when they have had a decade to truly refine their scouting and drafting strategy we really should give them the benefit of the doubt until we see otherwise... QuoteValley-Ram Those 2 guys can never get enough thanks from this board for the AMAZING work they do every year leading up to the draft! If you appreciate their efforts please reply to this thread to let them know! I dont actually care that much for the run up to the draft. I cant watch college games or really follow that stuff so Ive never really paid much attention to anything except thoby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
45-7 and Brady lit us up in a way i havent seen even in the days of 2007-2008.by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Well I WAS at the game in 2012 in London THAT DOES NOT EXIST!!!! No I don't see any logical issue with that sentence:-) I dont hope Rams will play in Europe again soon, also for the sake of most of this board but a trip to London or Berlin is easier to handle over the weekend in autumn and winter than the US sadly... But one never know. Hope to be in Florida in October this year so.... roaby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
is the 29th of January so for the longest time I did hold out hope I could get a Rams SB on my birthday:-) No such luck anymore of course but I came close...by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
when I found this board after skimming a few others that didn't appeal to me and began to lurk. In those days and since some posters inspired my, and taught me and was always a blast to read, no matter if I agreed with them or even if they "fought" amongst themselves ZN Albany Rams43 Mama Bucky GRITS (rip) - maybe my favorite poster in the early days Deadpool and Alyoshamucciby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com

These posts are some of my favorite of the entire year and one of the main reasons i joined this board in the first place. Amazing work and such effort my man!by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
We thank you! Especially for the language lesson:-) The disadvantages of following an American sport when English (theoretically at least) being my third language is being able to express one self correctly at times:-)by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Did you go further than the headline? Because it sure don't seem it if THAT was what you got from it. Holy crap man. My apologies for phrasing myself so bad that you take "I'm curious as to why criticism in some cases goes to what seems like personal offense or animosity at the player in question" to "I am better than you and I only want people singing hallelujah everything isby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
No idea. Hopefully we will upgrade him and he can go be a starter somewhere else.by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
See I agree with this thats why i wanted to ask. To understand why i see the vehemence that seems out of proportion with the players "offense committed" I think we stand on the same place.by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Thank you sir! Good answer. I would bring the beer if the damn TSA wouldnt confiscate it:bangheadby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I mean there are several players we have I would wish we replaced:-) Thats never the issue. Im just curious if there is MORE than pure fan engagement in the over the top criticism and defense of him. And others. This is NOT primarily about Tutu after allby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
See thats my point. Thats exactly where i stand, but even I didnt (and this is not abut Atwell as such) It just seems to me that on occasion it gets... personal... with him fi. and I am trying to understand why, since even if i would be ok or even happy with him trade or cut (and Im not quite there yet) I would never be so vehement abut him as some people seem to be. And Im curious WHY. Itsby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
To be a riff on any specific player or their ability. I don't mind criticism of players on the field. Where else SHOULD they get criticism? My "concern" is where that seen to go from criticism of a players ability into taking near personal offense at their existence in the squad and on occasion nearly their very being as a football player. OK good. I apologize for the use of a word that might not be appropriate. Do you have any thoughts on my thoughts?by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Let me preface this by saying that I know I'm still one of the new, young kids on this board and certainly not one of the "big" or more insightful members so I might be somewhat out of line but there is something I have noticed that I am getting genuinely curious about, so I wanted to have people's opinion. Where does the drive come from to try to utterly denigrate our own players orby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Lets say Stafford DOES blindside us and retires after this year. Possible. Depending on injury or if we DO win SB, or whatever. I trust McSnead enough that they have a plan for that and wont need to panic if it happens. So drafting a kid this year who might then have to sit for up to two seasons, UTTERLY derailing his progress even IF he studies under Stafford, by inactivity rather than pickby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
A complete accident. Far more than Warner for instance. Hence why im saying we MIGHT draft out future QB... but it is not going to be in the first, but who knows? Maybe that guy we take in the 6th just happens to burn everything down. I just think the odds are... slim:-)by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
This is why i wanted to point out that it was not in any way meant at a dig at you. Because all your points are valid, intelligent and reasonable. It just ain't gonna happen. If they want ANY QB in this draft? We trade up for it and say screw it to the capital we need. But we wont.. Because that's CLEARLY not what they have in mind. Not with Davante etc. Hence why I also stick with my theby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Or rather. They MIGHT. Like Patriots got Brady by "mistake", but it ain't gonna be intentional.by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams are NOT, 100% positively spending draft capital on a potential starter QB this year. They just arent. Its a SB window and they will work towards that by filling BPA in certain roles. (Leaving aside my standing belief that we wont draft our next QB anyway but trade like with Stafford.) We have built our ENTIRE offensive identity around Matthew Stafford and unless someone corrects me andby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I still don't think they are going to draft Stafford's replacement but trade for him like with Stafford himself. Just how I read the team and what McVay want to do. So I would certainly be CONTENT with a QB but I would be DEEPLY surprised. Shocked even. I still don't see why Kyren is suddenly so useless that he needs replacement, so RB would NOT make me happy. 3-4 round? sure. Second even? Aby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah that's more or less my thought as well. Maybe not BORED perhaps, but certainly unless the rookie can come out and be VERY special (And whats the odds we find them in the 20-32 pics) he would prefer someone more... polished.by DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
Even if we agree or disagree on whether we would draft or trade Stafford replacement, whatever we will do i would be less surprised if the started COLLECTING picks (While still getting the players they want of course) than spending them for the next few yearsby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
So quick topic for the knowledgeable people here. Since we mostly discuss the draft this time of year including trading up or down.:) And I the only one who thinks that, while Stafford is now locked in for the next two years, I would be surprised if we made a big splash trade before that, if it included giving up ANY first or even second round picks beyond 2026 (And even maybe not then depenby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
I know comparing football to others sports is silly, but this makes me laugh at the cultural sports differences between american sports and the rest of the world. Its just funny to me how "number obsessed" American sports are. Here? Not just soccer but any sports really, players change numbers at least 3-4 times in their career. Usually when they change team, or when they become starsby DanishRam - RamsFootballFans.com
