Hopefully an improved offensive line will lead to a better running game and better overall offense, scoring more, using more clock, improving time of possession all of which make defense appear to be much better overall. I don't see it mentioned much on this board but by the time the Super Bowl is played a good portion of the teams looking for coaches and staff have already selected and signed up their new coach hires and staff. Many of the choicest selections of new coordinators etc, are already gone. McVay didn't have many choices. Maybe the coach figures Evans was the only guy who knew the offense well enough to trot out there and he was simply offering encouragement for the players self esteem. Hey guys, these guys are playing for OUR TEAM. We support our team, good or bad. Players too even if they aren't playing as well as we would like we shouldn't be casting stones. Had to check that claim and found this "Packer season ticket holders always run the risk of loosing their seats if they resell them, if whoever is holding your ticket gets tossed for conduct not allowed, the Packers well known policy is that they can revoke your tickets." I thought he caught one for a first down in first quarter, but couldn't confirm, might have been someone else. It would be interesting to know how mant snaps he played and what routes he was running. I had season tickets when Rams were in Anaheim from '83 thru '94 and things haven't changed since then. The 49'ers were 50 to 60% or more of crowd back then too. It's the same problem with other successful franchises like Steelers, Cowboys, Eagles etc. There are so many people here who came from other places and brought their team affiliation with them that we will have this problem for a longby DESERT RAM - RamsFootballFans.com

I seriously doubt as player on his own would send a retirement letter to their team. In all likelihood this was suggested andf promoted by his agent, especially when they had a meeting setup to discuss his contract...the following day. The article is very good, but it leaves out actual record of coaches through their tenure at their respective teams. Kyle Shanahan 39-42 W-L, 2-1 W-L in playoffs, 0 SB won / years in playoff’s 2 out of 5 Sean McVay 55-26 W-L, 3-3 W-L in playoffs, 0 SB won/ years in playoff’s 4 out of 5 I for one feel we got the better deal! As the game is being played on west coast with start time of either 5pm or 6pm that would make a start time on east coast at 8pm or 9pm probably giving max overall viewership for whole country. Not so...McVay beat Arians twice in 2017 his first year and Arians last year in Arizona. Tampa with Arians came in and smoked Rams in 2019. Arians is a good coach and a tough competitor.
