Boston is ten times the athlete and WR that Pettis was. Pettis was painfully slow. Boston can run a bit I am guessing he runs 4.5 maybe a tad better. Boston has elite hands and ability to win jump balls. Boston is a team guy with a hard working attitude. I wouldnt mind seeing him as a Ram with a trade down or two.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com

Swap out that florida WR for the Iowa returner or the DT for the returner. The Rams need maybe 2-3 picks in rounds 4 and 5. Trade down a couple time if need be and get what you want. Maybe take an Oline player after a couple drop downs in round 1 and grab that WR in round two. I will say I love Cooper, he is a Rams type WR. Take at least two Oline guys. He was a solid player with size and likely better than anyone else on the roster. When he got hurt, the Rams D lost a big part of what they thought would carry the day at CB last season. He was solid for the Rams when he played, he was a better player than Williams or Durant and likely Forbes as well. I wish him well, and hope he stays healthy.by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com

Omar Cooper Jr is a stud and a perfect fit next to Adams and Puka next year, and then with Puka as a pair after that. Cooper is my favorite WR in this draft. I do not want Lemon, give me Cooper Jr and he will give the Rams 10 great years. A cool thing about 22 is that he can do and play whatever you ask him to do, slot or outside or he can blitz and he plays the run like Ramsey does. Press man? Yep, trail? Yep....Zone? You bet. This was an absolutely great trade for the Rams. Like Love at 13, not with a back they love in Williams and a 2nd teamer who really played well last season in Corum, and now Hunter has had a year to tutor under the Rams coaches and be in that room with maybe the best pass blocking rb in the NFL in Williams. He made a ton of tackles, but that is his job. He isnt a ballhawk by any means. He had two picks against the Colts that weren't great play,s more bad throws. The only way I want the Rams to take Downs is sitting still at 13, or unless a trade up for him a spot or two that wouldnt cost too much. I love him as a player and think he would be exactly what this secondary needs if they can land a #1 CB in FA. Downs will change this defense, he is simply that good, Ed Reed good? 1. Wear and tear. Injuries and just being out there way too much. A. Case in point - Our MLB was a gamechanger then about week 8 or 9 he turned into JAG. Missed tackles, how many times did we overrun a sack only to give up a play for the first down. 2. The pass rush was pretty hot early on then it tanked. Let him sit a year or two behind Stafford and get taught by Coach..He has a ton of talent needs good coaching and some mentoring. He could be a really nice QB and taken in round 3 or 4, potentially. Some of it makes sense, like the complaints through 3 different DC's have remained similar, as soon as I hear or read someone say "attack downhill" I instantly lose interest in what they are saying. There is no such thing. To keep things in front of you and then see what they do and come up and try to make the tackle is not attacking, its read and reacting. Often, the field position is backed up, and the Punter is kicking without a shot at downing the punt inside the 20. Those stats mean very little unless we know where the punt was from and whether it was expected to be downed inside the 20. Was the punter any good? I hate seeing them rush 3 on 3rd and long; they get zero pressure, and the Rams LBs and Nickel guys are not good zone defenders. I have never seen a team so unaware of people entering into their area of coverage as the Rams guys tend to be in zone. 48 is not a good zone coverage backer, so many times this year the QB has moved him with his eyes and then stuck the ball right behind him for a 1by RustyRay - RamsFootballFans.com
