...a very good OL, a very good running game, and an underrated WR/TE crew. The question is and will always be, can he thrive when those things are not clicking? ....have not played even close to last year. Too much is put on the coaching. Players gotta make plays when they are there or needed. Way, way, way too many mistakes, missed tackles, blown assignments, etc. It does feel like this team is just not with it this year. ...watching the game last night and it was prevalent that MIA is in man to man a lot and they got burned enough to see that being "aggressive" does not mean the D will transform into the '85 Bears or '00 Ravens. It is frustrating to watch sometimes, but better than big plays that flip games on their head. I get what Morris and Co. are doing, especially with banged up CB's... ....the NFL is week to week and depending on the opponent, the teams health, etc., that dictates a team's potential in the next game more than winning by 30 or scraping by to eke out a win the prior game. How teams adapt as the season goes on and get more cohesion. ...they faced CHI in Week One who were way below average and this year BUF is maybe the best team in the NFL. Different teams, different results (a 20 point win or a 21 point loss). They followed up that win at Indy (27-24) where there was a blocked punt returned for a TD and they barely one. I think it is true, this team needs a few weeks to get going for whatever reason. ....I agree, once you get past 100, it is eye of the beholder/right scheme and culture fit. I have even seen that once you get past the top 15-25 (depending on the talent of each year's draft) 20-50 are a mixed bag. Not much difference.
