Does anybody think they would've stopped Wilson from driving them into FG range?by JYB - Game Time Forum
It gave McVay time to find his balls.by JYB - Game Time Forum
Might as well start blitzing the hell out of Wilson, because what they're doing now ain't working. It's just slow torture to a certain TD.by JYB - Game Time Forum
Goff can't play defense. And this hapless defense hasn't stopped this once-floundering Seabag offense yet.by JYB - Game Time Forum
They call ticky tacky garbage all the time and let THAT one go?by JYB - Game Time Forum
J/K, of course. But this pathetic display never happened under Fisher.by JYB - Game Time Forum
He's also nifty with his feet. He can sense when defenders are going to try to take him down by chopping out his legs and he takes quick, short, high steps to avoid the defender. Seems to get him a few extra yards each time he does this.by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
That's probably a first for an NFL player. I'm assuming he was a tippee, not a tipper, since he probably isn't privy to inside info himself.by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 The other thing that I think deserves mention is that this Ram team consists of far more than just Goff. Fortunately, there are many other high quality players throughout the roster. Goff has the luxury of leaning on the support of a handful of Pro Bowl types on his O. Together, they seem almost unstoppable. For example, Gurley and this OL can punish opponents in foul weather. QuoteRFL My post was not clear. I loved the Kupp throw. But it was the vertical throw TO WOODS that took my breath away. That's the one I voted for. That was my vote, as well. Woods was essentially "covered" by two players and Goff places it right in Woods' hands, beyond the reach of the defenders, on a frozen rope from 30 yards out. Amazing. That play tells me that there'by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteAtlantic Ram And then from the back comes this apparently drunk female Rams fan to punch the long haired guy. And then she goes into a stupor or something, lol She wasn't in a stupor -- somebody behind her (very casually) grabbed her by her ponytail and subdued her.by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
Lol. Yes, it was pretty much over, but if the situation had been reversed, I'd have wanted the coach to use TOs there.by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
Rams recovered the fumble with about 1:20 left in the game, got a quick first down on a run by Gurley, leaving the Vikings 1:12 left and two time outs. Had they forced a fourth down, they could have gotten the ball with a 25 to 30 second remaining. Or tried to block a punt. Yes, it was a long shot, but it was still surprising to see them throw in the towel when the game was within one score.by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsfsninmd ...can be called on the gunners as they are (I guess) not considered receivers. Weird rule.... Rule probably exists because all a punter would need to do is throw the ball in the direction of the gunner -- who's being mauled all the way down the field -- and it would be PI every single time.by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
That's funny -- when the score was 17-14, I was thinking back to half time of the 1999 playoff game, after Vermeil had told the team that "we took their best punch." Then Tony Horne returns the opening kickoff for a TD and the rout was on.by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills After that Cards game I told you that if Goff upped his game he too would be mentioned like Mahomes Well low and behold after throwing 8 TDs the last two weeks he is (Goff) the talk of the NFL and has entered the MVP conversation after 4 weeks (yes I know early) Goff will get plenty of accolades and yes Mahomes is going to get that kind of attention when he is playing likeby JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
I dunno, Rock, I could see the Vikes converting on 4th down, cutting the lead to six, rather seven points after the FG. And that would have made me very nervous. Maybe that Ficken awful kick was a blessing. ;-)by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
You motivated me to take a peekā¦ ======================================================================== TALIB AND PETERS OUT FOR THE 9/30 GAME....... TUE SEP 25, 2018 6:01 AM I know most people are assuming we lose to the Rams. But......they are going to be without Talib AND Peters for that game. But how are we doing this without Tavon? Incoming! :spintoungeby JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
Was thinking back to the discussions the talking heads were having when Goff and Wentz were in their first years. Many of them were saying that Goff and Wentz didn't stack up to Winston and Mariota. How's that proclamation looking now? It's still way too early to deliver a verdict, but hard to think of a better 1-2 pick combo than these two. Maybe Elway-Dickerson?by JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe. Hoping Obo can provide something. Yeah, he's a rookie and he's coming off of injury and won't be in game shape for awhile, but he might be the only player on the roster who can bend the edge. Or, we just outscore everybody. :laughingby JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote21Dog game landed right on the number. It wasn't just Ram fans POed with Ficken. If he had made that Ficken field goal, the Vikes would've gone for it on fourth down instead of taking the FG on their next drive, and I had little confidence the defense would have held. Then it would've been a six-point game, instead of a seven-point game. So, Ficken may have actually helped us. :confusby JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
Second year in new, already-great offense that is verging on becoming unstoppable, and a defense that can't stop anybody. Difference is, this time around, seems like we have the players on defense turn it around. But pressure from the edges is going to be a problem all year. No way to manufacture that without blitzing. This is an offensive team for the foreseeable future. Going to be aby JYB - RamsFootballFans.com
