Jack were you and Mr Stienberg with the organization around the same time? He and Don Klosterman were a big part of the reason the Rams where of such high caliber being the heads of the scouting dept at one time or another. I have fond memories of speaking and corresponding with Steinberg as a young teen talking about some of the Ram draftees. Any memories of either of those guys? It was incredible reading your responses! I'm so glad you took time to share all those thoughts. I believe you and the entire team always carried yourself with class and had the respect as one of the top teams in that era. We are proud as fans because of so many great things your teams accomplished . Thanks again!by CraigMatson - Jack Youngblood Chat
No internet for month either ? ? Man that's rough!by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Ok play him a half this week. If he is ready he should get time. I think it would wrong to start him though.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Lol, things change level to level, I've followed Lee since his high school days as I've posted about a few times and he wasn't even the #1 Wr coming out of his his class at Serra high in Gardena which is just south of Inglewood Ca btw, , Anyway George Farmer II was the star and the bust later at USC , Marquis had the drive and grit along with the talent to dominate with the Trojans. But unforby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
He is potentially a good #2 and would be very good 3 or 4 . He would bring a deep strike ability as well as another athletic presence in the red zone. Like you said I don't think you would break your bank signing him but I would checkout his medical report thoroughly because he is fairly slight and Has been banged up now and then going back to his college days. But he may have gotten past thaby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Anyone wanting knowledge about how we match up with Bills? ? Review their depth Chart, First off Hopkins being down is pretty lucky but they will replace him with raw speed in Goodwin. Robert Woods is also pretty fast and will be motivated coming back home to L A. .Charles Clay is good part of their offence also. Thier offensive line will challenged against our DL ,,,isn't everyone. As sby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I'd second that they're ok right now it all fits. But Andrew Donnell might be one of the more expendables we have,so if we wanted to gain a late rounder or swap a player for player he might be a candidate . Would think we wouldn't gain much out of it though . Jeffries or another dynamic receiver would come at a high price mid season. So fat chance.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
In one word gutsy.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
And as glib and talented as he is, ,,,he only was noticible running the power point for Fassel in one Hard Knocks episode. Would have been good for his resume after football.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Well rembember he did take a converging hit on a return in the Tampa game where it was said he needed help from teammates to get up. Maybe it happened then, ,whatever it is.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm ok with getting up early. Watching my game and having the rest of the day free. I do the same for the combine or later days in the draft. No biggie! One added plus is the networks extra focus on my teams game in the pregame show.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Can only compare to what they did vs Pats last time over there,,,, As I recall they spent most or all of the week over there ,(got acclimated easy that way to time),activities included a lot of PR and event for local kids, visit from Kevin Costner, visit to Kronkes' Arsenal facilities etc. So a great experience and I think the players including Johnnie Hekker had a great time in the spotby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Coming back to the Coliseaum. Sunday will be x~ Trojans: Reggie Bush, Robert Woods, Keyon Seymour, and x~ Rams: Richie Incognito, Greg Salas, and Marcus Roberson (last seen on Bills practice squad) . So lots of extra stories this week from opponent personnel. See depth chart link~ (from Ourlands)by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree the Bills are a decent team with some young talent on offence, the fastest starting QB in the league and a x ~Ram in Marcus. Roberson. It will be a slugfest and another One score game. We can get a great deal of momentum towards a playoff spot but a win is more about stashing a consistent level of of play than any serious arrival. Nine to ten wins by week 12~15 then we've got it doby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
instead id be more worried at corner. i like johnson, gaines and joyner but after that it can be dicey. hill has been a nice find but i dont know if i want him starting and unfortunately sensenbaugh while apparently a very nice guy is looking like a bad pick up Definitely have to look at CB every year because we put those guys in single coverage so much it really shows their weaknesses immby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Schrager was fairly negative last week about the Rams chances to win in Arizona citing the up and down patterns in past years. He probably got a better pulse of the heart and resolve this team has along with the talent it has to compete.by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Have you noticed Josh Forrest is getting some time at LB also and recovered the fumble Easley caused? . Not saying we should stop looking for talent there and at the other spots you mentioned. We may still need another OG~ C, besides a lights out #1wr. The Williams scheme works with average talent At FS because it's all about the pressure up front. Cody Davis's experience size, andby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I believe they have a very difficult time throwing passes to him crossing the field without clearing out a entire side. You have to lead the throw with zip because he Is so fast and the defenders are also likely to float back into the same zone, , And yes he may not be running at the same depth all the time even on the curls, I think the deep posts and post corners would be easier for a connectby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah he did some work that helped get Britt open on his longest grab (34yds? ), I read Peterson and the honey badger were shadowing him. Did notice we heard little from him either: ).by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
I see he is loaded with intangibles . He is an inspirational player to his teammates who can see his work habits ,his will ,and how all those manifest in production on the field . I've seen many Ram and NFL QBs over the years and what Keenan does with average physical gifts as a QB is admirable, and as such is worthy of holding off the #1pick for as long as possible. Case may not get theby CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah Quick is a pure physical talent! Gotta get him touches! !by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Oh yeah he was great, Well done victory, Rams are getting a good level of play from their whole team! Something to be proud of. Go Rams! !!by CraigMatson - RamsFootballFans.com
Lol, We need to blitz, but coverage is Moore important, We know this guy. Can complete soneby CraigMatson - Game Time Forum
Nuff said, You guys have arrived! !by CraigMatson - Game Time Forum
Yeah we should pass about 4 strait playsby CraigMatson - Game Time Forum
The crazy thing was his hands seemed to cradling under the ball then he spins and secures it ;closer than u might think for catchby CraigMatson - Game Time Forum
Hayes is really missed. Quinn has been running too wide , getting washed out, Sims does nothing, Westbrook is quiet Alexander and BArron might need to be set looseby CraigMatson - Game Time Forum
Yeah that's why he looked like he had a hand or wrist injury for a sec,by CraigMatson - Game Time Forum
Oh well that's one of the costs of Spruce and Cooper being inactive along with the lukewarm running game and no Hibgy or Austin mixed in right. Need more than Kendricks and Britt working.by CraigMatson - Game Time Forum
