For making a point? Is it too much to ask posters from other boards joining our boards so they can trash McVay, Morris, etc? Posting from reporters who are in the building and have some perspective are enlightening. Posting from other teams fans are interesting and fun, more 'Morris sucks' posts are just tiresomeby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
1 We have a great group of posters with diverse opinions. We have excellent draft analysis from Deadpool and great screen grabs from Younglood 53. Posters share links from journalists and reporters - Jorda, PFF, SI and TheRamswire. We even get perspective on what fans from Seattle and San Fran are saying. What do we gain from more opinions from other boards? 2 When things are repostedby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I never understand why fan opinion posts are posted on here by Berendsen Ram and referred to as 'juicy' or 'enlightening. These are fan rant posts. And we have plenty of those on the board already. Does old...whatever see the criticism of his posts so he can respond? Or is he just a lurkerby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
If they did all the teams would be fighting for the playoffs every year. There are so many duds in there. Judge from the Giants - just awful. How about every Clevland head coach before stephanski (or whatever his name is) Urban, freaking Myer. He's the 'best guy'? Totally unqualified and a train wreck. Your example is meaningless as all those professions require extensive schooling, anby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
and it tells you owners and gm's are not picking the best guy. Adam Gase? are you serious? What about giving Eric Bienemy and Byron Leftwich a chance? Look at who took over for Caldwell in Detroit - they fired him so...they could win 2-4 games a year with bad coaches? At least Elway gave Vance Joseph a chance, got to give him credit for that. The league likes the Rooney rule and they arby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Miller has been good in the playoffs, but at his age a big payday makes no sense for the Rams. His sack totals continue to decline. We have Hollins and some younger players who could fill that spot and hopefully get close to the sack total he will likely have. As far as OBJ - you can't pay him and Woods. If Woods is doing well on his recovery, I think they'll say farewell to OBJ.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
2 x 4 seeds in the SB. Bucs were a 5th seed, I think last year. Even home field doesn't mean that much. Chiefs really should have lost to Bills (terrible Bills coaching on defense and special teams) at Arrowhead last week.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Put reeder on special teams and goal line / short yardage - he was just awful for the most part yesterday. Wondering if they wanted Jones to kind of work back into things since he's been out for so longby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
As good as they were in the conference, you see what happens when they face the powers of the SEC. They were blown out in the 'playoffs'. Not bad coaching, just a talent mismatch.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
why is every criticism of him focused on one Ram head coach the team had from 20 years ago. there are a lot of coaches in recent years who have had trouble managing timeouts or managing the clock, etc.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
what did he start the season at? Maybe 150 or 155, this after an entire spring and summer where he was supposed to getting buffed upby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Just an awful pick. No vision when he has the ball, hit the ground and fumbled - untouched. Can't break a single tackle - goes down when someone blows on him. Lacks the elusiveness to make people miss. The 145lb pre draft weigh and thin frame were huge red flags. If he really wanted to play in the NFL he should have been working to add weight his senior year and heading into the draft. At lby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Ready or not, Stafford was in shotgun and ball sailed waaayyy over his head - that's not timing, it's a terrible snapby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
the Saints D coordinator is good and should get a shot. I was commenting on Dan Quinnby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Love em or hate em, you have to respect them. They had a playoff and SB reign that will likely never be duplicated. I know people talk about all the 'cheating' but there's more to it than that. You don't win all those division titles and playoff apprearances and wins and SB's (wins and losses) by deflating balls or whatever nonsense they accused Tom of. Sorry, but most vet QB's admitted they pby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm thinking maybe Tom gives it one more year. But who knows.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Everyone's in a froth about him. Most of the coaches who weren't very good in their first stint don't go on to have more success later. 2 exceptions - Bellichek, and Carrol. But you're talking 2 coaches in the last 20 years. I bet Jones would prefer Payton to get his offense going,by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
the interior of our o-line was getting whupped on running plays, so it's not like no risk. Plus Gay missed a 47 short, A miss there give the Bucs good field position. Also, as we found out later in the game -runs can turn into fumbles. A quick slant to Cupp or a bubble screen is about as safer as a run and one thing our o-line was doing well was pass blocking. Coaches can only call plaby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Boy, some posters just like to bash McVay for whatever he does. That was one of the worst snaps I've seen in a playoff game, maybe ever. A bad snap usually skids on the ground, or if it's mis timed it hits the QB in the facemask or hands. It went so far and so fast, Stafford didn't have a chance. 2 weeks ago everyone was killing McVay for just running the ball 3 times against the Niners andby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
If he can't plant fully on that knee and ankle it will definitely affect his performance. Plus being able to track outside speed rush moves could also be an issue. I don't think it's just a pain tolerance thing. It's a movement thing.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
this year - he got hurt, missed some time and got hurt again on his first few carries. an injury one year is understandable, but every season for 3 years means he has durability issues.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
And...he can't play more than a few games without getting hurt.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He's been in the league long enough to stop talking about 'ceilings' or 'upside'. What games has Henderson played that showcase his explosiveness? What's his longest run from scrimmage? How about longest pass reception? Touchdowns? Sorry, I just don't see it. He's a cheap, serviceable 3rd down back. Lacks vision at the second level and goes down on first contact.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He can run, cover and has good instincts.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
He brings it every game. Ask Gronk about that. He makes plays, Most importantly, he doesn't get hurt. Has he missed any games the last few years? I can't remember any. Sure he has shortcomings but I wouldn't be so quick to kick him the curb in 2022. Howard and Jones are both much more athletic, but Howard's rookie year was spent on IR and Jones couldn't make it through the regular seasonby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess Seattle wants to just keep on keeping on. Thinking maybe Wilson gets traded to a team like the Broncos. As much as we've had their number, I won't miss playing him twice a year.by promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
Is it an injury? Fatigue? First half of the season he was dropping dimes on long passes. But for several weeks now his deep throws are always under thrown and result in a number of his picks. In this game alone - Skowronek was behind the defense, as was O'dell - both those throws could have been touchdowns. I don't think it's a misguiding thing - I think he just can't throw it that far now fby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
I know a lot of posters are calling for Morris' head. I don't see McVay canning him. He also hasn't appeared on the short list for any of the 7 teams needing a head coach as far as I can tell, but that might change. Since he spent a lot of his coaching career on the offensive side of the ball - what about him as a replacement for O'connel if he leaves, or another position. That would clearby promomasterj - RamsFootballFans.com
