And alot maybe even most people exceed the speed limit very often. Why? Because in their calculation it's important to get where they are going and not very likely that they will injure someone. Your example proves my point.by PHDram - Bucky's Pub
Lol. Well you may be right but I'm not sure I'd base it on 1 play either. To your point I would have thought he would have contributed more last year but he did have same talent in front of him.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
remember long was drafted to fit wades scheme which as i understand it used mostly man to man concepts. this is what long did at michigan. when staley took over they moved to more zone concepts. im not saying he cant play zone but it may not be a match for his skills set OR it may be a little more of learning curve. personally id be surprised if they cut him.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Hollins outsnapped both of them last year.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Guess we will see soon enough. I like Garrett's potential as well. Great 7th rounder. I assume he's pretty raw tho. Not sure he will.be ready this year.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
How to you come to that assessment? Hollins is the superior athlete by far AND had more tackles and sacks last year.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Except Mcvay and Goff of course. Mcvays tyrannical control and toxic personality prevented Goff from succeeding.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess that's fair. I would argue maybe it's not that he regressed but that defenses got a book on him but that's kind of semantics.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I know you didn't ask me but I think your post pretty much summarizes my view of this situation as well. Im not sure any other version fits the facts.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Thirrys article is decidedly a pro Goff imo. Mcvay comes off as a petulant child which is why its difficult to accept as a whole...again imo.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
yup. i understand that. however, different people can (and often do) have different views of the same events (ive had several friends who have got divorced over the years and on every single time the mans story is a bit different then the woman's story. Which is more accurate?). Thus the article may represent thirrys perspective based on her sources but its not the only valid view. If mcvay evby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
it strikes me as odd that NO ONE to my knowledge has ever confirmed, denied, corroborated, or even really acknowledged this report. its was released, had like a 24 hour news cycle and then gone. there is only 1 person that keeps bringing it up as if its scripture.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
i know he did not draft him but he did take the job knowing the rams had a substantial commitment to goff and and obviously they extended him under mcvay. I cant imagine snead extending goff without mcvays blessing. I think the controversy/speculation comes after that. Personally I believe the rams (ie, snead and mcvay) liked Gofs progress and believed he wouldl continue to develop AFTER theby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think you are right in terms of SJD and he seems like a great person as well but I think the writing is on the wall for him with the rams with the drafting of both Browns. No knock on him whatsoever. Just can't keep everyone. Another great late round draft pick by Snead.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
You asked a question. Got an an answer. You don't like the answer. And now say the question wasn't important. Whatever. Look. Everyone has their opinion. Yours is not special. And like you said it's unlikely to change so why continue to bicker about it? Its been 6 months. Why not just accept the fact that some people are not upset with how mcvay handled goff?by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Is a phrase just about every coach has uttered at least once in their lifetime...in other words..its pretty common.by PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
Not to belabor the point but if they have old parents why not get them vaccinated too? Further I don't know why anyone would worry about young children getting. The VAST MAJORITY barely even have any symptoms. I have a 11 and 15 year never worried once about them getting themselves but I did limit their contact with their grandparents until they were vaccinated.by PHDram - Bucky's Pub
Tbh...im not sure it's realistic to think that covid will die off. I think it will be around for a long time in one form or another. However as we learn more about it we will learn to treat it. At the very least the vaccine bought us time to find effective treatments.by PHDram - Bucky's Pub
Agreed. If you choose not to get vaccinated and get sick you need to accept the consequences of your choose.by PHDram - Bucky's Pub
1. It's not a guy never moved from guard to center before. 2. While maybe we didn't see corbett play center dont you think the coaching staff did? Kromer was well known for cross training the lineman. 3. It seems painfully obvious at this juncture that this was the plan all along. Blytge was offered a minimal deal to compete with corbett but he saw the writing on the wall so moved on. And theyby PHDram - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree and ultimately I think that is where some of the hesitation in getting the vaccine lies.by PHDram - Bucky's Pub
You make the assumption that everyone who gets covid will die. The simply truth is that the vast majority of people who get covid will recover especially those who are healthy and a sizable percent won't even show symptoms. So the question then becomes do I get vaccine that has not been fda approved against something that is not likely to effect me. I made the choice to get the vaccine but if somby PHDram - Bucky's Pub
If a hospital gets paid more from insurance companies for covid cases then it does for say lung disease (and it does or at least did at the height of the pandemic), what do you think will go on the death certificate if a patient legitimately suffers from both. And remember most people who have died from covid were old or ill to start so there's plenty of room for "error".by PHDram - Bucky's Pub
