The Rams have played in London before. There might be fans there who have become (or are becoming) Rams fans because they are more familiar than the Giants.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Without checking I would suspect that he's got fewer carries than most of the RBs ahead of him, too.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Wentz came into the NFL with a Master Degree in running an NFL-style offense (having done so for 5 years at North Dakota State). Goff came in with a GED.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
"What is wrong about getting it right for the present and not an unforseeable future ?" I didn't say that was wrong. I said that's not what the Rams did.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
When Gurley first started playing last year he was facing defenses whose first priority was to stop Foles. Then, beginning late last year and continuing into this year, defenses shifted focus: 8 and 9 man fronts to stop Gurley first and make whoever was playing QB beat them. No surprise that Gurley had success early in his career, not so much lately.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the objective was to make the Rams better for the next 12 years. It is still possible for the Rams to meet that objective, even though Wentz has the lead three games into that 192 game race.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
It would be nice to get 2 in a row! Go Rams!! KKKRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
You used to be able to bring the 3rd QB in if the first 2 got hurt. Here's the rule (from ) "Teams will be permitted an Active List of 45 players and an Inactive List of eight players for each regular-season and postseason game. Provided, that if a club has two quarterbacks on its 45-player Active List, a third quarterback from its Inactive List is permitted to dress for the game, but ifby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
"The only question will be what happens with Case and Mannion." Once Goff becomes the starter: does Case go to #2 because he's better prepared than Mannion to run the offense ... or does he go to #3 because he's a FA after the season? (The second option would likely help Mannion's development which might come in handy the next 2 or 3 years.)by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
"The Rams are going to have to win with defense and win the turnover battle every game." Fortunately they are capable of doing that.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Fisher knows what kind of offense he wants to run and I'm sure Groh wouldn't be his OC unless he had a similar philosophy. So you're right, Fisher doesn't call the plays. But he does hire OC's who call plays pretty much the way he would. (Beyond that, I wouldn't be surprised if Groh got a little coaching on play-calling from Fisher after every game. But that's just speculation on my part.)by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Factor these two things into the equation for me: Wentz had 5 years (counting his red shirt freshman year) in a pro-style offense before coming into the NFL, Goff had zero. Wentz is 23 years old, Goff is 21.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the last 2 sacks were on screen plays that the Hawks had covered. Keenum should have thrown the ball away both times.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com

Is there a reason why teams would test Jenkins more if they thought he was a better CB than TruJo?by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Gaines might have beaten TruJo out before the 2015 season but by the end of 2015 TruJo was a better CB than Jenkins. Kudos to TruJo for continuing to develop and kudos to the Rams for recognizing it.by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
Been saying that all along. (And not just because my son and I are flying west for the game!!)by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
"But we wanted to stay with the run because it’s the run game that helps you get the plays outside.” The run game helps you get the plays outside like this (as I understand it): team runs ball, defense stacks to stop the run, then the outside plays are available. So if the D comes out already stacked to stop the run hasn't your run game already done what you want it to (i.e. help yoby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
"Offensively, we couldn’t make plays. It’s a combination of bad decisions at the quarterback position, and drops at the receiver position." So I guess we're pretty sure that the play calling had nothing to do with it?!? :bangheadby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
"... and open up the playbook as soon as possible." What if the playbook is already opened up?!? :confusedby AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
What did you see from Quick last night that makes you think he should get cut? According to PFF he was the Rams' 5th best player on offense last night. This excerpt cut-and-pasted from LMU93's post: Top offensive grades: RB Todd Gurley, 74.4 WR Kenny Britt, 73.7 LG Rodger Saffold, 71.7 RG Jamon Brown, 49.8 WR Brian Quick, 49.5by AlbaNY_Ram - RamsFootballFans.com
