It's a good example of how important turnovers can be.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Every time I tell that anecdote, it closes the thread down.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Here's an example of the point I'm trying to make (and I would really like to hear your take on it): I was watching a Chiefs game a couple of years ago; I don't remember who they were playing. At any rate, the score was close and the opposing team had the ball around mid-field. The quarterback missed a WR on 3rd down on like a 7-8 yard out route; the ball was put low and behind him. The Rams should have beaten the Packers is what this all comes down to.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
But why set Mahomes up for a potential game winning TD, only to take the chance away with a non-call? Because they were cheating for the Packers? Then why make the phantom roughing call to move Mahomes closer to a score? Doesn't it blow our minds?by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
You are, indeed detecting a trend, my good fellow, and the trend is this: The NFL gives preferential treatment to certain players, and most of them are quarterbacks. But it's not quarterbacks in general, it's quarterbacks who are viewed as having mass star power appeal. What we are in need of, my friend, is impeccable, objective criteria. That's what we should be striving for instead of thiby Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
You guys, all I'm saying is have one standard that everyone lives up to. Why is that so much of a problem? You have Speed basically admitting that Mahomes should get special treatment because he's a good player. Good players can get knocked out too!by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
It's a strange jock strap worship people have for certain players. In other news, Russell Wilson threw 3 interceptions yesterday, including one in the end zone to slam the door on his team's chances. Imagine if almost any other QB did that with the exception of Mahomes, Allen, Lamar Jackson or Jalen Hurts. So it goes.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I've just always noticed that the Ravens tend to commit dumb penalties or make stupid plays in close games. A couple of years ago, Lamar Jackson threw an endzone interception to a Raiders DB late in a game where the DB was the only player on the field who was in the endzone. Stuff like that.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
There's a lot to like about him.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I don't hate Mahomes, I just don't understand why analysts and fans are reluctant to criticize him when he makes a bad play. I'm not imagining it either. It's been written about and spoken about by a few heretic analysts and sportswriters who cover the NFL.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, to be fair they had made a pretty poor call on a Packers DB earlier in the game while ignoring that the KC WR pushed off on the DB. Even the Ma-Homers, Tirico and Collinsworth, both mentioned pointed it out. I thought the calls evened out.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the Ravens are the dumbest team in the NFL, but the way the Rams play on the road worries me. They need to play a clean game.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I can live with bad calls as long as they even out. But did you notice that Tirico and Collinsworth emphasized the PI call while barely mentioning the unnecessary roughness call? I think they wanted to see a Mahomes miracle.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I was starting to think that the Packers made a mistake, but he looks very good lately.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
That was after they tried to set Mahomes up close with a roughness call. It's like they don't want defenders to lay a hand on the guy. Just call a fair game and let the players play.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
After they tried to gift it to Mahomes with a made-up roughness call. Mahomes also threw that late interception to help doom his team.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Phantom roughness call just like several calls in last year's AFCCG.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I like him too. I was thinking that Sanchez would have been a perfect local media person for LA Sports since he was an athlete here, much how Jim Hill has been.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
I came here to post the same thing. All of a sudden, he was gone.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
Probably not broken since he came back in and played. Although I believe that there are areas where the ribs can break without too much chance of further injury.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
He impressed me a lot today. However he is such a physical player that his body takes a lot of pounding. I'd like him to be around for a while.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com

Oh, that would be so wicked!by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
How do you keep up with what's happening? Reading your comments on the game forum, it seems like you are seeing the action in actual time.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
But the Eagles really got their @$$es handed to them in their yard.by Classicalwit - RamsFootballFans.com
A rib injury. Must have been bruised.by Classicalwit - Game Time Forum
Indeed they did. We need the offense to finish it.by Classicalwit - Game Time Forum
