I thought the Rams defense was going to be their Achilles heel but the defense stepped up in the playoffs and in the Super Bowl. If you would have told me that the Pats were only going to score 13 points and Brady was going to throw a pick and NO touchdowns, I would have thought that equated to a Rams victory. This season when I have watched the games live, the Rams have done poorly. When I record the game and check the score periodically on-line, the Rams have been victorious. I then can watch the recorded game. This Sunday I will be at a friend's house to watch the game. Do I watch it live or do I record it and avoid the TV at my friends house while checking the score on-line?by rammertime - RamsFootballFans.com

I know it was a bad no call but the Saints had their chances. There was a no call on the facemask on Goff. If that's called the Rams more than likely get a TD instead of settling for a FG. I'm not upset either. The Rams are 11-2! I'll take that any and every year. Give credit to the Bears. They're a good team. Oddly enough the Rams needed a game like this. I attended the Rams-49ers game December 11, 1989..... Monday night. Rams were leading 17-3. Looked like it was going to be a beat down. Instead, John Taylor ripped off two 90+ yard TD runs that helped the bad guys win 30-27. It kind of felt like I got dumped by my girlfriend for my best friend on my birthday after being fired from my job...........only worse.by rammertime - RamsFootballFans.com

I agree with your summary. I can't believe there was no flag on the play that took out Cooks. The way they have been calling penalties this season that should have been 15 yards, automatic 1st down, ejection, a fine and the player's first born.by rammertime - RamsFootballFans.com

Hey guys! I just wanted your thoughts on what kind of stats Goff will put up this season. I know it's kind of a dumb thread but I'm a little burnt out on AD threads and want to change things up a bit. ANYWAY! His rookie season was pretty forgettable. 1089 yards 5 TDs and 7 INTs. You may be right. They may go after a OL. However, given our track record of 1st round picks of O-linemen I almost cringe thinking about going after one in the 1st round. I think I would prefer to get them in free agency and later rounds.by rammertime - RamsFootballFans.com

This was a tough game. I also believe it was a playoff preview. It reminds me of when the Rams were beat in Tennessee during the regular season and then ended up beating the Titans in the Super Bowl. With the 32nd pick in the draft the New Orleans Saints select............RB out of Georgia Tech, Jonathan Dwyer. Mike Bell is an Eagle and Pierre Thomas is still a restricted free agent. With the 30th pick in the draft the Minnesota Vikings select OG out of Idaho, Mike Iupati He's a real physical guy. The Vikings would love to add a physical o-lineman like Iupati for their run game.
